Family-friendly vacation rentals in Odda Municipality

I was visiting for the second time and brought friends with me this time. It was a fantastic stay again. I knew what to expect bit my friends were also super happy. The house is a real jewel. The location is an absolute dream! The view from the terrace and the jacuzzi is sinply breathtaking. Exploring the water by boat or with the kayas was a very nice experience and it was crownes by some freshly caught fish as well. We will definitelly come back again :-)

The perfect place to stay! Maria and Jarle are delightful, friendly hosts. Their place was cozy, clean, and accommodated our large party of 10 with ease. There is a lot to do from the Airbnb - they have kayaks, paddle boards, a motor boat, a trampoline, a hot tub, games, and the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings! Their information binder was so helpful with clear info about the area and nearby hikes/activities as well as instructions for the Airbnb. We wished we had stayed another day or two!

Un environnement exceptionnel... Même par temps de pluie, rester à l'intérieur est un plaisir, grâce aux ommence baie vitrée. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, offrant un panorama a couper le souffle. Bain nordique a recommander pour les moments ensoleillés. 3 belles chambres, une salle de bain spacieuse avec un sauna privé. Le logement est à 1h de bergen par autoroute et ferry. Plein de balade a faire autour dans un environnement vraiment préservé. Nous avions choisi ce logement pour 4 nuits a la fin d'un périple en Norvège pour se reposer et visiter Bergen. Nous avions fait avant 4 jours aux Lofoten et 3 jours dans la région de Flam pour les fjord. La communication avec Jarles est très bonne par messagerie.

Hadde tre fantastiske dager på denne hytten. Koselig beliggenhet og flott hytte. Kommer gjerne igjen. Anbefales.

Wir haben alle Mahlzeiten an dem tollen Platz am Wasser genossen. Der Blick auf das Wasser und den Sonnenuntergang 🌅 war atemberaubend. Das Grundstück und die Wohnung sind angenehm individuell. Die Abgeschiedenheit und der spannende Weg auf das Grundstück machen die Unterkunft zusätzlich besonders. Bergen ist gut zu erreichen (mit dem Auto). Wir haben von Feste Nærkjøp AS aus mit einem Boot das Museum über Auswanderer besucht. Mit etwas mehr Fahrzeit ist die Wanderung auf den „Slottet“ und ein Besuch in Mo verbunden. Davon sollte man sich aber nicht abschrecken lassen. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter! 👍

Notre séjour chez Sverre et Kristin s’est très bien déroulé dans une charmante maison, authentique, chaleureuse et douillette ! Sverre et Kristin nous ont conseillés et accueillis avec bienveillance et toujours le souci de répondre à nos attentes. Ce sont des hôtes avec lesquels il est très facile de communiquer et d’organiser son séjour. Merci beaucoup !

Nous avons été très satisfaits du logement de la communication avec Siv qui s'est montrée toujours très réactive et gentille! La vue de la maison est imprenable, le logement est facilement accessible même sans voiture. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement!!!

We had a wonderful 3 days at Håkon’s place. It’s on a beautiful, quiet street where my kids could play at the playhouse/sandbox across the road. It was also a 10-15min walk down into Bryggen and to the Floyen funicular, so we really didn’t need our rental car at all. The neighbourhood also has many walkable grocery stores, coffee shops etc. The inside was updated and very clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen to eat in. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

Excellent location, lovely apartment. Stayed for 6 nights, a lovely spot to see all the sights and hikes in Bergen. Tor was incredibly helpful and very responsive. Thank you.

Great location and nice apartment! The outdoor seating area is a huge plus. As others noted, there is a bit of train noise and the ladder/stairs to get to the loft are a bit tricky—I had no issues with either, but definitely important to keep in mind. Marta was lovely and would definitely recommend this apartment for any solo travellers visiting Voss.

Veldig fin plass. Heilt perfekt for barnefamiliar, med mykje å finne på for liten og stor. Nydeleg og skjerma plass, stille og roleg. Veldig hyggelege og hjelpsamme vertar. Vi kjem gjerne tilbake!

Christen is unlike any other host. He met me at the bus stop and helped me with the luggage. He has a handwritten book of recommendations on where to eat and what to do, along with helpful instructions for the stay. He had left a bottle of wine, and cookies and coffee for me, which was very thoughtful. The place is super walkable to the city centre and the tour/airport bus stops. While central, it’s also tucked away from all the city centre madness and thereby offers a quiet and relaxing place to stay after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Norway. Christen was very friendly, flexible and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bergen (as long as they don’t mind climbing up a few flight of stairs). Thanks for the lovely time in Bergen, Christen! Hope to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the incredibly beautiful city of Bergen. :) Cheers!

Arve is a real craftsman who has restored this beautiful old home. Located it the top of a hill and end of a road, it was very quiet and peaceful. Park at the foot.ferry and take it to Bergen. Arve is friendly and helpful, a very good host.

We had a great stay at Iren’s apartment and enjoyed the beautiful sunset views over the fjord from the garden. We also enjoyed an evening at the boat house which was the cherry on top! The location is unbeatable close to many sights and hikes. Iren was very welcoming and made sure that everything was perfect.

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold! ·      Den storslåtte utsikten over fjorden og Sandholmane var en fryd å våkne opp til hver dag. Huset ligger idyllisk til i et uforstyrret hjørne av en stor park, noe som virkelig bidro til en rolig og avslappende atmosfære. ·      Leiligheten var både romslig og ren, med et interiør som forteller en spennende historie. Vi satte stor pris på hvor godt utstyrt alt var, noe som gjorde oppholdet vårt enda mer komfortabelt. ·      For de som verdsetter en god natts søvn, er dette stedet en sann oase. Sengene er komfortable, kombinert med den fredelige beliggenheten, omgitt av natur, skaper det perfekte forhold for en dyp og uforstyrret søvn. Ingen støy fra trafikk eller byens lyder, bare den rolige susing fra naturen rundt. ·      Svømmebassenget og badstuen med utsikt var høydepunkter for oss. Det var en glede å kunne slappe av og nyte disse fasilitetene i slike vakre omgivelser. Som alle skjønner, de besta anbefalinger – et helt spesielt sted!

A very nice and spacious, beautiful apartment, not far from the center and with a supermarket literally around the corner. It was an absolute comfortable place for 4 people (including 2 teenagers) and Sara responded quickly and kindly to any questions we had. All in all we had a wonderful stay! We also enjoyed the swimming pool in the building. For NOK 200 pp we had a ticket for 24h. So with a little planning you can use it multiple times. Schedule is different from the website though, so ask at the reception and check the schedules on the doors. Btw: Despite the detailed information about parking/entrance from Sara, we had a little trouble finding the address, because Maps first led us to an address earlier on Tveiteråsvegen and then we also drove past the place, and stranded on the cycle path. Tip: It's at the end of Tveiteråsvegen, but just before the very end, it is the small parking lot on the right (downhill driveway)

Hallo Gunnar, Vielen Dank das wir in deiner Hütte unseren Familienurlaub verbringen durften. Hovden ist ein sehr schöner ruhiger Ort mit tollen Wandermöglichkeiten auch mit Kleinkind. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten mal richtig entspannen. Liebe Grüße Jana, Tobi, Kinder und Enkelkind

Apartamento muito bom para 4 pessoas, estávamos em tour pela Noruega e foi uma passagem de 2 noites. A roupa de cama e toalhas foi resolvida com kit descartável da Temu!! Está a cerca de 20 km de Odda onde se fazem boas caminhadas. Boa climatização no WC e na sala. Todos os contactos necessários foram por mensagem. Existe um pequeno passeio bonito mesmo em frente aos apartamentos até um lago tranquilo e bonito.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!
