This is sweetest little beach house, nicely decorated and very clean with absolutely everything that you would ever need. All instructions were clearly posted. I really hope to be able to stay again, if she’ll have me :) lol

I had a gal's weekend with my best friend at Roger's beautiful home by the bay. The beach access was very easy, parking was a snap, the view of the bay was gorgeous and we were pleased with how comfortable we felt.

Comfy, cozy and it was the perfect location for me. They mentioned, dogs and chickens in the listing and the dogs were sweet and very friendly. I grew up on a farm, so I found the chickens a sweet reminder of my childhood. Matt and Jacqui are lovely people. I will be coming back! My only regret is that I didn't book it for a longer stay!

If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy place, this is the one. A very safe neighborhood with stores and restaurants nearby, yet quiet enough to feel like you’re in a cottage with no one around. Provided snacks, plenty of clean linens, and easy instructions for anything of use within/surrounding the home. Responded very quickly. Was overall very happy with my stay.

Christopher was so accommodating and his home was the perfect place for a little weekend getaway with the family. We all loved the vibe of the home and of course, Mr. Richard Parker. It was such a unique experience and perfect location - walkable to the beach, the boardwalk and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

The location was amazing. Literally one block from the boardwalk. It had all the amenities needed. Love the little touches that are given. The only small things I would change is to add blackout curtains to keep the sun out in the morning. Also to Suply face towels if possible. Other than that, this place is amazing and worth every penny.

We spent three nights in Billie's studio apartment, and it wasn't enough! We were primarily attracted to this place because we love to visit Forsythe NWR, and Billie's place sits inside the refuge boundaries. But her place offered so much more, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. It was blissful to sit on her dock looking out into the salt marsh during the golden hour of late afternoon, sipping wine as we listened to the sounds of resident clapper rails, kingfisher, and several species of sparrows, and watched the full Super Moon rise over the creek. Inside, the space is charmingly decorated with original artwork and thoughtfully chosen, nature-themed furnishings. Billie was super-helpful and communicative. She even provided an extra down quilt so we could sleep more comfortably with the heat turned down, as we prefer. This was our first stay here, but it won't be our last. I'm already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks Billie!

Comfortable bed with nice linens and pillows. Soft towels and shower with hot water. Everything was supplied in the kitchen. Beautiful view looking at the water and watching boats going by. Lots of birds along the river.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had! The space was well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets. The host provided great local tips, and check-in was a breeze. Looking forward to staying here again next time we’re out of town.

Lovely stay at Amanda’s place in barnegat light. Proximity to beautiful pristine beach is excellent. There’s opportunity for a few updates but overall we were very comfortable and well equipped. My seven year old enjoyed the kid friendly touches like games and books.. and the outdoor shower after the beach. the family room was a big bright space to hang around in.

We are so thankful to have stayed at this beautiful waterfront house. The host thought of anything and everything that would be needed for our stay and went above and beyond to take excellent care of us. I would highly recommend staying at this location, or any of our hosts other locations. We can’t wait to come back and are looking forward to our next vacation at the Mermaid House.
