We had the most wonderful stay at the crab shack! As a family of seven, it can sometimes be tricky to find a place that ticks all the boxes, but this home exceeded our expectations in every way. The house itself is spacious, beautifully kept, and thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and style — there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. What truly made the stay special was the peaceful setting. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having the beach just steps away felt like a dream. It was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy some quality time together without any distractions. The views were breathtaking, and the fresh sea air was a treat. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning our return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene escape by the sea :-)

Absolutely loved our stay in glorious Findhorn. Location and quality of accommodation first class as was the weather. It was all made better by the excellent local amenities - The Bakehouse & The Kimberley Pub!

Emma’s place is lovely! So cosy and cute. Everything is thought of and the little extra treats were a nice touch. Location is great handy for high street and a short walk to the beach. The fire is lovely to sit by at night, beds are comfy and kitchen is well equipped. Emma was friendly and quick during all communication. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay at St Elmo! The place feels freshly renovated with stylish, comfortable furniture and a cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s close to the beach, which was perfect for morning runs. The host was fantastic—super friendly, gave incredibly clear directions, and you can really tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into making the space welcoming. Would 100% recommend and will come back!

The location was great, very modern interior and easy to get around. Although a little dusty but all is made up with the amazing vibes and atmosphere! Sam (The host) was super responsive and helpful as well! Appreciate the responsiveness and the flexibility of his.

Lovely place, looks even better than the photos. Alan was very helpful and friendly. We had the best time and hope to be back!

What a beautiful interesting home in a lovely location. We walked to the beach, visited local villages and enjoyed the peace. The quality of the property, in particular the style and comfort are outstanding. The hamper was most appreciated. We wish we had longer and will have to return!

Super stay in Fortrose with great local beaches/walks & the opportunity to spot dolphins. Simon's house was spotless & the log burning stove was a welcome facility after our meal out to The Anderson (highly recommended). The kitchen had all the facilities/utilities required for our brief stay. Highly recommended!

A lovely stay (2nd time) and everything we needed for a restful break. The accommodation is top class and the view is unbeatable. Linda was also really helpful when I had a query. I can’t recommend enough if you want a relaxing stay in quiet, gorgeous surroundings.
