Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oberhofen

very responsive and extremely helpfull with everything that I needed... the place is very cosy but most of all the view is amazing with the outdoor terrace...

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

These are the kind of places you hope to find on Airbnb. The inside is well built, and there is a cattle farm right next to it with bells and all. The greenhouse is such a cool feature… it’s like you’re outside. It rained that evening and we hung out under the greenhouse roof. Lots of beds, and a walk in shower 😁 I was so sad we only had 1 night to stay due to a train strike in France. If we are ever close to Lucerne again, we will definitely stay here.

Martin & Ursula were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful home in and peaceful neighborhood. They always took care of the trash and laundry when we were out exploring. Also, they gave us important information about discounts and how some places would be closed due to a holiday we did not know about. We were allowed to cook in the studio which was very helpful. Martin also offered to drive us back to the station, which was very kind.

Erika is a kind woman and smiling , the place is super clean , she is well organised as her place is. thank you Erika you were so cooperative and great in providing all the missing things ❤️ the stay was wonderful and great. I highly recommend the place 👌

The house and property deserve a rating higher than 5!! The house was right on the lake with a grassy lawn and an easy-to-access boat dock. A rubber boat with oars and life jackets was provided. Outdoor tables and chairs were provided. The architecture of the house was contemporary and very pleasing. Everything was well stocked - plenty of eating utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans, bathroom, kitchen, and laundry supplies. The views of the lake and mountains were incredible! We loved our two-weeks there!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans le logement de Carmelina et la région est juste magnifique. Il ne manquait rien. Nous avons apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée. Et merci d’accepter nos compagnons à 4 pattes.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at the views were mesmerising from my bed. Only. I could see the lake Thun. Overall, an amazing experience and will definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is planning to stay in Thun.

Thanks to Nadja and Sandra for making us feel welcome in this lovely apartment. The setting is amazing (the beautiful lakeside suburb and the glorious town of Thun) and we were extremely comfortable and at home. Thun really is the best and loveliest base for this whole region.

We chose this residence for the vista of the Alps in the morning and the evening - superb - and also as a launchpad to Grindlewald and Interlacken. Very close to a brilliant public bus service into Thun. Restaurants are expensive for visitors in Switzerland so we used the superb kitchen to prepare our evening meals. Very commodious and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay, great apartment, loved enjoying the terrace area with amazing mountain views, easy access to the lake and city with Doris a very friendly host.

Eine rundum großartige Unterkunft mit viel Charme! Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Selbst zum Kochen war alles da, was man braucht – sämtliche Utensilien sowie Grundzutaten wie Mehl, Zucker, Gewürze und Öl waren vorhanden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und haben uns mit vielen hilfreichen Informationen versorgt. Super Einführung und schnelle Kommunikation über die App. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies, und die kunstvollen Schnitzereien von Steinbock und Bär sind echte Hingucker. Die gemütliche Berner Atmosphäre macht den Aufenthalt zu einer echten Wohlfühloase. Absolut empfehlenswert ob langer oder kurzer Aufenthalt in Thun. :D

I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Lauterbrunnen, the view alone is worth it. The check-in process was probably the easiest and most detailed I've ever experienced. Pictures were provided and everything was clearly explained. Lisa was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful the whole time. We had a bit of trouble with a patio door, Lisa and her husband came over and had it fixed within minutes. The place has everything you need and truly feels like home. Just hop on the bus across the street, go to the grocery store, stock up, and you won’t even feel the need to leave. Would love to come back!!!

The apartment has great views and feels closer to the lake than the photos. We walked to the lake in a few minutes. The space was really well provisioned and the welcome gifts and generous provisions for the kitchen were really appreciated - thank you! The accommodation was comfortable and spacious. The bedroom area is shared and open to the downstairs kitchen/lounge which worked for our family but worth being aware of. The terrace is well laid out to enjoy the views. We had a car but the proximity to the bus would make it accessible without. The walk/bike ride into nearby Spiez with a pretty harbour area and shops/restaurants/cafes and ferry stop is doable though not flat or lakeside. Although not far from the road the space was quiet as it is on the lake side of the building.

This was the perfect home base for our adventures in and around Lucerne. Easy to get to. Awesome to have a grocery store right next door. Quiet neighbors. The free parking was a huge bonus. The apartment was clean and felt like home.

Wir hatten lange nach einer modernen Wohnung für unseren Urlaub am Vierwaldstättersee gesucht und sind dann auf Roshans tolle skandinavisch eingerichtete, helle und freundliche Wohnung gestoßen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist alles da, was man braucht - kompakt, hochwertig und gemütlich. Matratze ist hervorragend, wir haben super gut geschlafen. Die Dachterrasse liegt wunderschön zum Waldhügel hin und man hört viel Natur. Das ist wirklich toll. Das Dach im Rücken schützt im großen und ganzen vor den Geräuschen der am See liegenden Straße und Bahngleise. Die Kommunikation war vorbildlich und super freundlich! man ist schnell zu Fuß am See, Schiff, Bahn und im Ort mit Bäcker, Metzger und Lidl. Logistisch top gelegen! Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und kommen selbst gerne wieder.

Un très bel pied à terre à proximité des sites incontournables. Possibilité de nombreuses randonnées au départ du logement. Apparemment très bien équipé avec vu imprenable sur la vallée.

Great place! Good location with beautiful views. Conveniently located near a bus stop. It was wonderful to open the porch doors and windows to allow the cool valley breezes in.

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

Heidi’s place was amazing. Beautiful views, comfortable beds & she was thoughtful and left toys for our baby. She was a great host! Very safe and amazing area to stay in. We spent every night and morning on the beautiful balcony.
