Charles is one of the most organized hosts ever! Special mention for Devi who looks after the property. She is warm and becomes a family member quickly. Charles always takes care of things neatly. The house is beautiful in a private and charming location that looks to the lake. Lovely rooms and good amenities. Great for comforting stays.

A gorgeous place with unbelievable views, situated in a stunning area with lots of beautiful waterfalls to visit nearby. I definitely recommend the hike between Bambarakanda falls and Ella Lanka, as the scenery is out of the world! The room was very clean and comfortable, and we loved the outdoor kitchen and shower with warm water. Chitra is a very kind and accommodating host, and the food that she provides is absolutely delicious with big generous portions. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we hope to return again very soon!

As a digital nomad on country #27, I highly recommend this place. I am so sorry I could not stay longer. With a private chef as an option for a small fee, this place is such a dream! No need to ever leave, really. My dad and I stayed here for one night, but really, we wish it could be longer. My dad didn't want to leave but our entire trip was only 5 nights in Sri Lanka. Still, we are grateful we got to experience this space. Chef Nakala's cooking was out of this world, and Abey took care of our every need. We adore them. I will have to return with my boyfriend, who is a medical doctor and was bound to the hospital on this trip. I think we would enjoy it as a couple. The space is equipped to house a family, so maybe one day when I have kids I'll bring them back here as well. <3
