Beach house vacation rentals in Nosara

This was our first visit to Costa Rica and Casa Aspen did not disappoint. What a magical place Samara is and Casa Aspen is the ideal spot for a family oasis. Centrally located, our teenage son and friend were able to freely explore while our younger daughter rested in the afternoons. The house is well appointed and exceedingly comfortable. The openness of the space encourages time together with fresh air and a cool swimming pool. Would recommend this space, as well as Samara Rentals, to anyone interested in visiting Samara!

We loved the location. On the site we have listed more than 30 species of birds, a family of howler monkeys visited us, iguanas, coatis, etc... the place and the accommodation are impeccable. Really worth seeing. We'll be back.

Beautiful spacious home, exactly as pictured, easily walkable to all the restaurants and beach in just 20mins! We absolutely loved our time here. Scott and Cally were great hosts, always quick to respond and flexible with checkin and checkout. Pool was perfect place for kids to play, plenty of outdoor seating spaces as well. House is brand new, well decorated and easy to settle in to. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Indigo. Good location, easy to get to restaurants, shops, and beach. We loved surfing, doing yoga, and watching sunsets!

Chris and Jen were instrumental in helping us plan our trip! They were amazing hosts who provided expert recommendations for for activities and meals. They are extremely responsive and helpful - among the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever experienced. We will return to Nosara again! It’s a beautiful location and the house is located within walking distance of a full service hotel with restaurant / bar (with amazing sunset views) and spa. I would recommend renting a car or a quad to get around, but you can also rely on tuktuks.

Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

Kembar is a lovely, lovely home away from home while visiting Nosara. The two houses are a fantastic way for a bigger group to enjoy time together while still having some space to yourself, Our family loved how conducive the place is to a good time: whether it be sunrise yoga by the pool, mid day siestas after a long morning surf session or evenings around the picnic table with the lights (& stars) twinkling overhead while a cool breeze, and a late night dip in the pool, get you searching for your long sleeves. Both houses are well designed: comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The outdoor shower, in particular, rocks. Although Kembar is not right in Nosara, we enjoyed being a bit away from what has become quite the scene in town. Some of us walked to the beaches, while others took a golf cart. Either way, it was easy and convenient. Although Nosara is full of good restaurants, I’d like to give a big shout out to La Cuchara de Dona Emi at Playa Pelada. THE BEST!

We had an AMAZING time at the QUIN Surf Residence in Nosara. The sunset house was absolutely stunning and Paulo was an incredible host - super friendly and helpful. The stay was even better than pictures! The town is extremely walkable but you can always rent a golf cart if needed. The beach was super close, make sure you stop at Howlers for some tacos and beer on your way back to the house. We will be back!

This is a great place to stay, we were there together, very romantic! Lovely sunsets, great location! The beach is in front of your eyes! Very cozy! You can also with company, there is enough space for everyone! I recommend

The property was exactly as described in the listing and perfect for our stay! The property manager was friendly, helpful and accommodating. She communicated well before and during our stay and provided great local recommendations.

We had a lovely stay in the house! It is spacious enough for 2 families, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the pool, the dinner on the large terrace to watch the sun set over the sea. It had everything to prepare meals! There were even several staples for cooking ( spices, sugar, salt, oil, butter, coffee... and even rice!). The freezer equipped with an ice maker which was very convenient with the heat! My daughter had a lot of fun with the bodyboard. It was great to have the beach a short walk away! It's a very quiet part of the beach, we were often almost alone there. We loved the open air style of the house even if it means sharing the house with small bugs and sometimes crabs! I would recommned this property.

This newly constructed villa was really lovely. It’s in a fantastic location in downtown Nosara and had all the amenities we needed. The A/C worked great and the pool was terrific for cooling off. Ashley was very responsive to questions and set us up with Chef Wagner, who was really nice and made some fantastic meals for us. One tip: Of you’re visiting during high season and think there’s any chance you might want to rent a golf cart, ATV, or rental car for getting around, reserve in advance. When we tried to get something during our visit everything was booked.

Lovely place, and lovely host with tons of local information. We truly loved this place, book now! It was myself, husband and our 15 month old. Everything worked well: laundry, kitchen, bathroom and A/C. The shaded, well maintained and private pool was outstanding and we spent hours enjoying it. The kitchen is a bit sparse, so don’t expect to cook four course meals there or anything, but it was more than sufficient for our needs. It is a little farther from the beach than expected, about a 15-20 minute walk, but it was an easy drive 2 min away with tons of parking and the beach was amazing for our little one. There are also tons of other fantastic beaches a ten ish minute drive away. Overall 10/10 and would book again without hesitation.

We loved our time at Tabata’s Airbnb! She was very attentive and eager to help with anything. We loved the peaceful setting with our own pool, patio hangout area and view. It was very nice to have trails directly from the house to the beach and also to Guiones. Marianne Lomax

We had a great stay!! The hosts were extremely responsive and hospitable through every interaction, even sourcing a play pen for my infant during our stay. The location was perfect and walkable to restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. It had everything we needed for a family of 4 with 2 children under 2 years old. We'd definitely come back!

Casa Pacifico was a great place to stay in Nosara. We loved checking out the town and restaurants and surfing was excellent. Joshua and his colleagues were very helpful connecting us with shuttles, surf instructors and other recommendations.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Olivia’s place in Costa Rica. From the start, Olivia was super helpful, even going out of her way to warn us about potential power outages during the rainy season, which did happen but were very brief. The location of her home is amazing, just a short walk to the Bodhi tree and the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only minor issue was the water pressure in the shower and toilets, which wasn’t great, but considering the location, it was more than manageable. Overall, Olivia’s hospitality and the wonderful location more than made up for it. We would absolutely recommend staying here 100%!

Casa Arena was the most perfect sanctuary for our family vacation. The home itself is GORGEOUS (both inside and out), quiet, private, and in a great location. We loved the luxurious design, pool, outdoor living spaces, and gorgeous tropical foliage in the yard. Beyond the physical beauty of the home, our favorite amenity was the Vacation Nosara concierge team! From the beginning of our reservation until leaving CR the team helped us with everything from transportation, dinner and grocery recommendations, booking a private chef (Esteban was fantastic and a highlight of our trip!), tour recommendations/booking, etc. The team was also very responsive. Any issue that came up and someone was there immediately with a solution. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful making us truly feel at home. One week was simply not enough in this beautiful place. We cannot wait for a return stay at Casa Arena. Next time we are definitely staying longer.

We had a very nice stay. Our host, Angela, helped us arrange pick-up and drop-off from the airport. She was very helpful and responsive to all our questions. The house and location is great if you want to be near the beach. There are a couple of trails you can take that are both about a 5 min walk to the beach. The beach is nice and wide and was not crowded at all when we were there. It's also a great one to surf. There are a few restaurants near by and many others within a 20 min walk. We went during wet season and I recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle during this part of the year if you plan on driving around. The house is great and looks like the pics. It is clean and uncluttered. We would definately stay here again.

A great location right next to Pelada beach (sunset swims are a must) and a short walk to Sunrise Cafe for breakfast and El Chivo for dinner (and their attached grocery for pantry items) and gelato. Beautifully appointed accommodation set in a lush garden. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a fantastic time staying in this villa. We have two young boys who love to splash in the small pool on the property. We would regularly walk to Playa Pelada beach for sunset, which could take us anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how much time our 2-year-old wanted to spend inspecting the animals and everything else there was to see on our way. The team was amazing and happy to help with any request. They were super responsive via whats app during the whole stay. The highlight was when the team asked if we wanted to join a tour to see the sea turtles laying eggs on a beach 30 minutes north of the property. We could not miss this proposal, and it was well worth getting our two young boys up at 4:30 a.m.! Thank you again for a wonderful stay, and we are already looking to return hopefully next Christmas!

An excellent place to spend time with friends. Large and room house strategically accommodated to give privacy to all but together. Very nice place, super quiet, there are some supermarkets nearby and there are several beaches close to visit.

Very nice and clean space. Beds are very comfortable (important!) and A/C works well. Pool and garden area is lovely, we enjoyed running through the jungle like garden in the rain. And if you like being in the middle of the busy area in Nosara it is a great choice. 5 min walk to the beach and epic italian food is 2 mins away. Wifi was a bit spotty, to be fair we were warned about that in the guest book, but the issue is the household wifi network, not the internet itself, so hopefully that can get addressed. But honestly you should be enjoying the incredible surroundings not staring at your phone anyway! Lovely spot and reasonable value for money.
