Nice camper to sleep in

DonnaRating, 5 stars35 months ago
Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Camper in walking distance from the airport

GiuliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The stay at Limberg’s caravan was very nice. The place was as described, close to the airport (but if you arrive at night in the colder seasons I would advice doing the trajectory by car, taxis are just outside the airport). Limberg was very responsive and kind. Our flight landed late and we couldn’t catch any shop open to buy something to eat and he arranged a way for us to get to the petrol station in a nearby village. That saved our evening! Recommend.

The host was nice and friendly. He changed the bedding upon request and came to show you how the gas stove works. The car was parked nearby, which made it simple. The stay was comfortable and affordable, and it was very entertaining with the whole family.

Cozy Caravan

It was a fantastic location for a fantastic price. The place was really clean and everything went really smooth. The town is pretty small so I could walk all around it and come back to the place in a pretty short time.

🌲Wilderness & Calmness near Muddus Nationalpark

WendyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a wonderful experience! We loved everything about this place, just back to basics, exact what we needed! The house makes you aware of all the resources that we take for granted: electricity, running water, heating. In this place and especially in wintertime, you have to take care of your own fire, otherwise you will freeze to death. You have to make good use of the limited solar energy for the lights inside the house. Water to do the dishes must be taken from the lake, which is frozen. It is hard to keep the hole open at temperatures of -26°C. It is only here and now that you realise how hard it must have been for the Sami especially in wintertime. We loved the sauna and rolling in the snow afterwards, the silence (real silence where even your own breath sounds loud!), reindeer passing very close to the house, the northern lights that was very visible thanks to the absence of light pollution. Above all this, we loved our host, Lena, who is really involved.

Soda Valley cozy studio apartment

Ingvild was a lovely host and the Appartement was beautifully designed, well equipped and situated right beside a lake with exclusive access to the beach. The location is ideal for exploring the islands of the arctic sea as well as the fjords and high mountains of the Norwegian main land. It really was a very pleasant stay!

Me and my boyfriend were welcomed by Sissel who explained everything we needed to know. The airbnb was on a farm property, but still very private. We used the sauna, the jacuzzi, cold plunge the spot has a beautiful view. The bathroom and shower was in the next door building but the there was an outdoor cold shower which we used. We found this airbnb because of its location close to the airport and to be honest it’s a perfect stay for a couple/ family or group of friends.

We rented the van for 5 nights and loved the flexibility it provided. Camp sites were easy to find, the van easy to drive. Fantastic way to experience the Faroe Islands. The van looked exactly like depicted and Beinta was kind, provided recommendations and responded quickly at check in/out.

Caravan in the yard of the house

AnssiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Just a passport for a one-night stay. I was looking at hockey and bus 8 got right next to the stadium. The host was helpful and advised on how to use the trailer, like with water and locks. The toilet was also good and the radiators did their thing. I also came with a small dog, and the host offered to run during the match. Everything went smoothly, and the dog was happy to meet me at the door when I came back :) Recommended.

Zen ever garden edition

Anna SofieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I stayed for 4 days to explore the surroundings of Kabelvåg and to hike a lot, and it was an amazing experience. The car had everything I needed, and it was great to have a place to spend the nights, because during the day I would be off to somewhere else. There were so many things to see in the neighborhood, and the bus stop was around the corner if I wanted to travel a bit further. Magnus and his girlfriend were suuuper kind and always responded fast to my messages. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Lofoten and just wants a cozy roof above their heads!

Miriam is a great hostess. You can tell very quickly that she makes an effort and enjoys meeting new people. She always responded quickly to messages. She gave us tips for the area and looked after us. If you want to get to know your host, you've come to the right place. Definitely take up the offer to have dinner with her family!
