Wonderful Christmas Stay in Säkylä We had a fantastic Christmas in this charming, old-style Finnish home. The house was warm, cozy, and spotless, providing the perfect setting for our family. The owner was incredibly supportive and helpful, especially in teaching us how to use the traditional sauna, as we’re new to Finnish Old Style House. His kindness and support made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking an authentic Finnish experience. Thank you for making our Christmas so special!

We had 5 nights at Karin's house. We are two adults and two children ages 8 and 10. The house is very cozy and was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed the beautiful winter landscape and the frozen fjord. The house is not far from Luleå, but you have to get out of some small road with limited speed, so it takes about 25 minutes. The drive is very beautiful through the winter forest, and the road was nicely cleared while we were there. Karin is very flexible and accommodating, and we got really good information both before and after check out.

Spent 3 nights at Beate and Håvard's place, and we can only recommend this place! The accommodation is very cozy, clean, and super well equipped. The bedding is super comfortable, a real haven of peace! The view is sublime, facing the sea. Perfect for real disconnection . We were able to walk by the sea around the house, and hike thanks to Havard's tips. Special mention on the turntable😀. Thanks again to Beate and Håvard for their warm hosting, we hope to come back one day 😍

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

We had an amazing Easter holiday break in Marinca's cottage. They welcomed us in the home warmly, suggested local touristic activities. The house is simply beautiful kitchenware was quite complete for anything. There were too much snow at this time of the year, so hottub and sauna were so much fun! They work with wood fire; costing more effort to run but quite enjoying as it gives the old style feeling!

Very nice country house in a quiet location on the island. Beautiful surroundings overlooking the sea. If you want to spend a quiet few days, this is the place to be. At the other end of the island there is delicious fish to buy and significantly more choice in the supermarkets than we thought

We had a great week at Hans’s place. The house is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed our time in the nature. It was wonderful!

It was a nice surprise when the renter informed us that we could go to the cottage a little earlier and he had already heated up there. The cottage was very clean and had everything you need. We'd love to go there again.

Tor is the best host because he us thoughtful, helpful, and caring. Our family loved our snow days in his home because it was warm, cozy, and felt like home. Tor provided some fish he caught from the fjord for us to have and it was wonderful. This is the best overall stay my family has had in 4 international vacations. We hope to return for summer. We all slept so well in the cozy beds. The views were unbelievable. We enjoyed playing cards and chess. Kitchen is very well stocked and grocery store is 10 minutes away. HIGHLY recommend Tor and his summer home.

Linda is an awesome host. She is an amazing story teller. Had so much fun talking to her and sharing stories. I had an amazing and cozy stay at the cabin. It is a perfect place for anyone who loves to disconnect from the city life. Breakfast was on time and it was delicious. In the morning she introduced me to Billy and the chickens. They are super cute :) I will surely be back for a longer stay.

This is a cottage that I dreamed of as a student, and if time allows me to stay there all the time.Stefan was very warmly greeted me and introduced me to all the facilities in the cottage without much detail.Both Stefan and Anja are very attentive to their privacy, such as unnecessary never to interfere with their living spaces, but in turn they are very prompt and enthusiastic to help if they are asked for support.It's a getaway to forget the hustle and bustle of the city!Even honeymoon here.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in the cozy cottage right by the lake. It is nicely embedded in the Nordic nature. With a little luck, moose and reindeer can be spotted in the area. With the oven, which can be fired with free wood provided, it remained pleasantly warm. The small fire pit in front of the cabin is great. With the also free provided and clean boat, we explored the lake and tried fishing. From the terrace we could see the polar lights superbly. The place is highly recommended. We would come back. A big thank you to Inger, for helping and organizing local moose and fish.

First of all, I want to thank the hosts of the house for providing their cabin in such an impeccable place! Housing location very cool! One view from the window to the mountain and the lakes is worth it! Great place to relax both morally and physically! In the summer, I will definitely return to this beautiful cabin with my family!

Wow is all I can say. First of all Stefan is a fantastic host, full of knowledge, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lodge in the winter is truly like being in a winter wonderland, surrounded by snow and forest. Extremely clean, tidy and well presented and feels just like home. We will most definitely be back

What a delight to stay in this hytte for a week! Beautifully tastefully decorated, clean, fantastic surroundings and lots of peace and quiet! For more than four adults, it is recommended to book the other cottage right away. The rooms in the attic are small and you have to go through a mini door. We had enough space downstairs with our family but something to be alert to. All in all fantastic accommodation that we definitely want to go back to. The host Isabell was easily accessible and very friendly!

We stayed at Michaels cabin for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Really cozy, genuine and homely with everything you can wish for on your holiday. We want to come back here!
