Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Northampton

A beautiful serene home set up with everything you need. We loved the space, both inside and out. There was a country store right down the road that had amazing food. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck after a great day of hiking. With so much hiking in the surrounding area, we are already looking forward to booking again.

This home is a hidden gem in the woods. It is perfect for large families or groups of couples traveling together. The only negative is actually a positive; the house is situated far from markets and restaurants, but if you like privacy and seclusion, this is your perfect retreat.

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth's place. The house was big enough for our large group, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need, and the area was peaceful and beautiful.

House is beautiful w carefully selected furnishings & art! The owner goes above & beyond w food items & a wide array of toiletries/extras. Separate heat/air control in each bedroom. Beds were comfortable, high quality bedding. Bedrooms have ample storage/seating. Well equipped for kids - toys, books, games, art supplies, high chair, first aid, etc. Keep in mind the 1 bathroom is upstairs. We loved the charming kitchen - mix of old/new components, beautiful selection of dishware, large sliding window. Appliances + toaster, microwave, electric kettle, 2 coffee-making options, selection of tea/coffee, pantry staples, cleaning supplies. Directions posted for trash, recycling, compost. Rules seemed overwhelming at first but turned out to be helpful. Front porch great for relaxing - overlooks the street, pretty sidewalk flower garden, charming neighborhood. Street parking fluctuated but always found a spot. Location is walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, concerts, Smith College!

We had a wonderful stay in Westhampton. The place itself had plenty to do and was well stocked with amenities. The owners were also very proactive in letting us know about an issue with the previous renters that resulted in a deeper cleaning than expected. Nevertheless, we recommend Jen’s house and would definitely stay there again.

My 11-day stay at Mary's was truly tranquil and restorative. The grounds are exquisitely maintained, full of color and delight. it was lovely to wake each morning see new blooms opening up into the day. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, allowing for outdoor meals & long afternoons reading on the back porch-the only sounds wind in trees, water in nearby streams, birdsong & in the evenings, the trill of peepers by the pond. all with the stunning view of the mountains in the distance. The house itself is beautifully appointed, furniture, beds, bedding and decor, all high quality. The kitchen is totally stocked with first-rate appliances, a joy to cook in. and I can say without any doubt, this is the only airbnb i've stayed in where the artwork and the books were EXCELLENT. Mary is the best kind of host- helpful, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. Her attention to detail and kind consideration were likewise everywhere evident. This home is certainly one that feels like home when you walk in the door! The warmth of the wood and decor, and little touches throughout, let us know how loved this home is. We had everything we needed for our 2-plus week stay, and our hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. It was lovely to hear the owls and running water at night, and I can imagine how lovely the fireplace would be to use during the colder months! Thank you for a lovely stay!!!

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this small mansion! The property is beautiful—immaculately clean, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. The surroundings are stunning, with a breathtaking view just a short drive away. It felt private and serene, like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, a restful retreat, or simply a peaceful place to unwind, this is the perfect spot, at least for me. I would absolutely come back again.

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

We Minnesotans felt like we had a true New England experience during our delightful stay at Zachariah House! The decor made us feel like we had dropped into another century, yet we had all the modern conveniences, including cozy beds and delicious coffee. It was perfect for grandparents, parents, and baby.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

We were very happy with the place. It was well stocked for whatever you needed. We asked about breakfast places because we needed to eat out one morning and they responded that they supplied eggs, bread, English muffins, and coffee. Everything was super clean and updated. We loved sitting on the front porch swing and looking at the beautiful flowers. Bennington, VT (groceries, restaurants, and a great toy store) was about 15 minutes away and Williamstown was 22 minutes away. Would highly recommend if you need a place to stay in the area.
