House vacation rentals in Northallerton

The house is amazing! It goes on forever and the rooms are huge and decorated beautifully. Really quiet, peaceful location with wonderful views. We only stayed for one night so didn’t really get the opportunity to make the most of the house - would definitely recommend for a family gathering or celebrating with friends.

Wow! This place was above expectations, absolutely beautiful cottage and facilities. The cottage itself is so spacious and finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. The grounds and facilities on offer are superb. The location is stunning and perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, so many places to visit. We’re already planning our next stay, thank you for a perfect stay!

great place for a family getaway, there were 11 of us so the games room and hot tub were prefect. close enough to Barnard castle to go out for dinner, beautiful surroundings, what's not to like

Lovely stay over the New Year period. Great location with just a short walk into Pocklingto where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant place! Found this place by accident and already looking to come back with some friends. The hot tub/pool is amazing! We had the perfect weather for it. The house has everything you could need, home from home! Spotlessly clean too! Lee was brilliant from the moment I booked it right through to us leaving his place. Can't wait to come back, thank you!

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

We had a great stay in Thirsk, Jodie was fantastic and the cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed and was in a quiet location. It was close to town, which had great restaurants and was also very close to Tesco and Lidl to grab the essentials. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Beautifully set up and really comfortable throughout. The host was fantastic—super helpful and welcoming. The local pub was brilliant too—great food and a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend

Cannot fault the place at all. Exactly as described. Penny was very quick to respond and very clear as to where everything would be and how to access the property on arrival. A beautifully kept property in a beautiful area. Penny left a couple of bottles of milk in the fridge and a delicious lemon drizzle for our arrival. She had thought of everything with regard the kitchen and, unlike some places, everything worked and the knives were sharp. Comfy bed and pillows, huge towels and loads of space even with six adults. Will definitely return if Penny will have us.

We had a really lovely few days, the location is beautiful lots of lovely walks, and a great pub in walking distance. We stayed in the Mistal which was gorgeous, it has everything and was immaculate. We will be going back again I hope. Geoff is lovely and very helpful, a gentleman… thank you!

This was such a beautiful place to stay, my mom loved the gardens. The house is so spacious. We really enjoyed the home, and Jane had everything you needed. She was great when I had questions and very informative. And also we got our check out times mixed up, and she was very kind about us leaving late. It was perfect the perfect place in Thirsk!

We have had a lovely stay, the property was very well equipped, spacious and clean. We’ve stayed in a few cottages and this is by far the best. A short walk to the restaurants, waterfall and a lovely walk along the river. It was very peaceful and will definitely stay again. Thank you

Beautifully presented cottage, felt right at home from the moment we arrived. John and Tricia were extremely helpful and responsive throughout. We especially enjoyed the company of the very friendly cats, miniature horses and chicken!

Really great location. A home from home with everything you need

Highly recommend for a chilled romantic getaway. Everything about the setup was perfect. Enjoyed Sunday lunch at a near by restaurant then relaxed back at the venue watching the sun go down with a cold glass. Later in the eve chilled by the fire pit. If you want a night away to recharge it's the perfect place. Many thanks again Catherine :)

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for 8 months. It's a beautiful 2-bedroom property with a lovely, enclosed garden, situated in a very quiet friendly area. It's within walking distance to the local shops, and the local bus service is at the end of the road. Well-equipped, and very comfortable beds! Nothing is too much trouble for the host Kelly, who's always available should you require anything. Highly recommended 😊

Great accommodation which had everything our guys needed for their stay, very comfortable and in a great location. The host was very responsive and helpful.

We (7 adults and a dog) stayed here for 7 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. The house looks just like the photos, was perfectly presented and spacious enough for us all. The kitchen was well-equipped for those days we wanted to stay home, but the house is close enough to plenty of restaurants and pubs for eating out. Games room was a nice touch. We’d definitely recommend it and would certainly stay again.

We were a group of 4 friends celebrating a birthday, and we were looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place where we could chill and switch off. This was the perfect place! Comfortable, clean, beautiful surroundings. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming with loads of local knowledge. This was a great base to head out for local activities but lovely to come back to for a relaxing evening. We would definitely return, thank you!

We’re just back from a lovely few days at Courtyard Cottage. Perfect for us, although only small it is well thought out and everything we needed. We were met at the cottage by a very cheerful lady and were shown the cottage. We love Knaresborough as there is so much to do and the train station is a few minutes walk away. The castle and river were on our doorstep and made for beautiful dog walks with cafes and pubs nearby We used the train to visit Harrogate and York. It was glorious. Thank you to Robert and Karen , the hosts for the lovely cottage , which was a lovely cosy place to return in the evening.
