Had a great stay. Very friendly greeting from Steve who told us everything we needed to know. Very comfy beds and good space for two friends (we had the room set up as two twin beds). Would happily stay again if needing to be up Loughborough way again! Very easy to get to from Loughborough station too, quick taxi ride.

Sophie is a great host. very responsive and flexible. Very clear instructions. Place is very clean. accurate description. clean room and en suite bathroom. I haven't had the pleasure to meet with Sophie during my stay for 4 nights but she has been very responsive at all times. all essentials available from Shampoo, towels, clean linen, wifi, iron, smart tv in the room with netflix and prime, breakfast and vast collection of hot drinks. Available free on street parking. 10 mins drive to the university. local shops walkable distance. I can't comment much on the area as I was out all day and unfortunately didn't have time to wander around but the house has a nice small garden. If I am back in the area for any reason will definitely look for her. Highly recommended.

We booked Valentines night away for a well earned rest. Anna’s cottage is absolutely delightful. Decorated and furnished to the highest of standards. Our sat nav took us straight to the property, and we parked right outside. Beautiful log fire, very comfortable sofa bed, with huge footstool. Fully equipped kitchen and shower. Anna has thought of the smallest of details including soaps, fluffy towels, logs for the fire, fluffy slippers, milk, sugar to mention but a few! We would highly recommend staying at Anna’s cosey cottage and even more so the breakfast in the basket was the best ever! Highly recommend and will return when we can. Thank you Anna! 5⭐️

Scott's place was great for the six of us during our visit to Nottingham. The location was perfect, and Scott was on hand to answer all of our questions throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Superb Airbnb for our 3 nights away exploring the local area. Accommodation had everything we needed and all the little extra touches made it extra special. I particularly liked the booklet Eirwen had made with recommendations of where to eat, drink and visit in the local vicinity. The cookies, milk, bread, eggs, butter, yogurt etc were also a bonus. Eirwens’ husband Mike also deserves a mention as nothing was too much trouble. He happily helped with where we could clean our bikes and sorted out storage for the bikes as well as giving advice about places to go in the area. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

An ideal spot for night before the wedding at Warwick house. The Sonos surround speakers were the highlight, blasting out tunes while getting ready for the big day! Breakfast goodies were much appreciated and saved us having to go out and get bits in. Great for kids too, the tv and games kept them entertained!

My mom and I stayed at Rebecca’s beautiful home for a week, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The house is cosy, stylish, and very comfortable—it's a lovely place to relax and spend time in. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, with friendly and respectful neighbours, so there were no disturbances during our stay. The surroundings are scenic and charming, with beautiful views all around. It's also very convenient, just a short walk to the city centre and very close to a bus stop. The heating system works well, keeping the home warm and comfortable. Rebecca herself is a wonderful host, kind, responsive, and very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which we appreciated. Both my mom and I loved our time here, and I’m very grateful for the experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

had a great time, we really enjoyed walking around the park and for larger trips it was only a 10 minute drive to cinema / city center. such a cosy little place, with a comfy bed and nice sofas. bathroom had a few visible cobwebs by shower and under cabinet but still clean. shower worked well but would be cramped for taller people. lamps by bed super helpful as they had charging ports on them! checked out the dairy box next door, definitely worth a visit for food and snacks - it has everything you could need! nice quiet place except for one-off time where kids were playing football in the street, but that wasnt a bother for us. my allergies did flare up alot while in the area though due to the big tree outside releasing pollen, but thats a me problem 😅. overall, 9.5/10. would definitely pick this again when visiting friends! 😊

Our stay with Clare was absoloutly amazing. We hadn't quite realized how little the kitchenette was but Clare was very accomodating and even found us a cooker and stove to cook with. They were really good hosts and the farm was beautiful and wonderful for us and our children.

What a special place and a special couple. Jon and Muriel were warm and welcoming and we loved visiting with them. The chapel was a "spiritual treat" and we were honored that they shared it, and it's history, with us. I hope we meet again! B and B

A beautiful place to stay , with so many extras , felt totally private and loved the use of the outdoor seating area and hot tub . Both me & my wife said it had been one of our favourites, note to others book somewhere to eat if travelling at the weekend. The only ‘extras’ we d of liked would have been robes & slippers but that said that’s being picky . A beautiful find .

A peaceful stay in the heart of Bricksworth I had the great pleasure of staying with Ruth at her charming cottage in the village of Brixworth. The location itself is wonderfully quiet and picturesque – the sort of place where time seems to slow down. The cottage was immaculately kept, beautifully decorated, and perfectly suited for a couple. Every detail had clearly been thought through with great care. What truly set this stay apart, however, was Ruth herself. She was an exceptionally generous and thoughtful host. Each morning, she laid out a beautiful breakfast for us – a gesture that felt both gracious and personal. More than just a host, Ruth was warm, welcoming, and delightful company. Spending time with her felt like catching up with an old friend. I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my time here. It was restorative in every sense, and I very much hope to return one day.

Dawn’s place was hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! From the moment we stepped inside, it felt cosy and welcoming—truly like a home away from home. The bedroom was beautifully set up, and the quality of everything—from the large TV to the impressive surround sound system—really stood out. The compact kitchen area was a fantastic touch, fully stocked with everything you could need, including an air fryer and a portable induction hob. There was also a great selection of teas, cereals, yoghurts, and even thoughtful basics like milk and bread provided. The bathroom was just as well-equipped, with all the essentials ready to go. If I’m ever back in the area, I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again!

This is one of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. It is so lovely and is in a great location. Justine and David are very kind and welcoming and they gave me great recommendations for the area. This area of England is just so beautiful. And this airbnb just had everything perfect. Good breakfast foods, very comfortable bed and close to station and great restaurants. I hope to be back to spend more time in the area. Absolutely 100% stay here!

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stables whilst visiting for a wedding. Very clean and everything was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and Angela was very accommodating!

Nick & Dipika were great hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home. I loved all the Cottage decorations and the flowers on the table in the kitchen/dining room. In the midst of the current chaos of COVID the attention to cleanliness was greatly appreciated - the hand sanitiser in the lounge and kitchen/diner, masks in the lounge and disinfectant wipes and spray throughput. I felt very safe. I also appreciated the food available for breakfasts as well as fresh milk. A great experience and superb value for money. The next time I am in the area I will definitely return.
