Our barn is well situated between London and Cornwall, and is on the cycle route from Land's End to John o' Groats. We offer peaceful, simple accommodation, in a converted barn. The decor is simple, eclectic and stylish, possibly shabby chic. The building is spacious yet intimate , with a comfortable bed, cosy sofa, and a wood burner. The barn is completely separate from the main house where we live, by about 30m. Although we are mostly here, the barn feels very secluded.
“We came here for two nights away wanting somewhere very quiet and relaxing with some open space and we certainly got just that at this lovely hideaway! The space in side the barn is really amazing and Frances has done a fab job of making it cosy and homely. The fire being on for us on arrival and some flapjacks was a lovely touch and Frances and family were very welcoming whilst still making us feel like we had a private space. The kitchen is great and we cooked full meals with ease. The bed is so comfy and we slept great. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evenings playing darts and the private outdoor area was a great space to sit and eat. This is a really lovely place to stay and I would recommend to anyone in need of a little break to re set. We will be back. Thanks Frances!”
A delightful one bedroom chalet near to the picturesque village of Drewsteignton. The chalet is located within a small holding with the family home close by. The property is within close proximity to the A30 and within 16 miles of Exeter Airport. The self contained chalet comprises a double bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Wi-Fi. We do have a number of animals on the small holding, which are kept in a separate area. The chalet is popluar with walkers on the Two Moors Way close by.
“Roland and Shirley were extremely helpful from the outset as the airbnb map took me to the wrong place and so Shirley came to hunt for me and guide me to the right place! Advice for future guests would be to put the postcode in your navigation app manually. The accommodation is next to the house but there is plenty of privacy and a lovely view from the kitchen window, complete with gorgeous cockerels, mother hen and chicks, ducks and more as part of their small holding. It was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy some time and space to myself. Many thanks.”

“Such a lovely little cottage, amazing fire and plenty of logs for our stay! We took the dogs with us and the garden was great, as it mentions in the description of the property the garden isnt 100%dog proof but as we knew this we just went with them so that they didnt wonder off, all good! Milk in the fridge, fresh towels, candles and all the utensils you need. We went for an adventure and walked from the cottage to Fingle Bridge and then on to Castle Drogo and then back to Fingle Bridge for a well needed pint! Thank you for your recommendations on where to go. All questions were answered quickly with good detail. Would deffo reccomend this little gem. Kirsty and Ash.”
