Monthly Rentals in North Mavora Lake

What a beautiful stay in Te Anau! Heather & Brian thought of everything! From beers & cider in the fridge, marshmallow sweets, a fresh loaf of bread and milk, everything was fully equipped we cooked both nights and mornings. Heather is an amazing host and could not recommend this one any higher! About a 5-10 min walk into town where you’ll find the lake and some lovely restaurants, great coffee at the end of the street and right near the beginning of the road to Milford sounds.

Loved our stay! Surroundings were beautiful and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace overlooking the mountains. As others said, definitely take Andrew up on the home cooked meal he offers! His cooking instructions were easy to follow, and the meal was one of our favorites from the trip. Couldn’t recommend more for anyone looking to wind down and relax near Te Anau!

Wendy’s Tin Shed is the perfect place if you’d like a quiet and peaceful place with stunning views. The Tin Shed is not big but has everything you need and it all works to perfection. There is no TV but you don’t need it. The “outside live TV” is much better. The cabin was very clean everywhere. Wendy is a wonderful host and very responsive. Her hospitality is just top notch. There were eggs, breads, jam, milk, juice, butter in the fridge when we arrived. We can highly recommend the Tin Shed. For us, it was the best Airbnb experience we have had over the years.

We feel so fortunate to have stayed at Sarah and Jon’s place. It’s a little private and peaceful escape from the Queenstown traffic and hustle and bustle while still being close. We did a long day hike portion of the Routeburn, and the trailhead was about 55 min away which was doable! The lake is stunning and the home itself is spotless. Incredibly clean. Sarah and Jon are very warm and responsive hosts. We’d highly recommend!!
