Vacation rentals with a sauna in North Island

Great location, close to everything including some fantastic restaurants, a woolies and cafe basically at your door, and easy connection to the city centre. The fish and chips shop is fantastic. The property had everything we needed for a fantastic city holiday.

I shouted this for my son and his girlfriend as a Birthday gift. They phoned me on arrival to say 'It's amazing mum, thank you so much'. Messaged to say the place was awesome and they loved the sauna and spa. Super nice and such a great location. When I asked for a rating I was told 5 STAR across the board. Thank you so much as I wanted a special break for him.

The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We experienced a delay checking in due to a login issue with Airbnb, but once we gained access, the rest of the stay was smooth. The host followed up and explained the situation, which I appreciated. Overall, a good stay and a considerate host.

This apartment was so perfect for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the space, the location, and living as we used to in Central Wellington, a city we all love. Sally was a brilliant host. She made everything easy and seamless. We will use her services again when we return to Wellington. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a very cool, spacious abode, for both families or a group of adults away for a fun weekend. No notes. Thank you so much for having us. This is a great place to stay for one or two people. It is located at prime location with main markets at walkable distance. The bus and ferry stations are also walkable. Host Aneez is one of the best host I have met. He will receive you in person explaining all details making you feel at home. He is a very flexible host who cares deeply about guests. He allowed early checkin knowing that I was landing in morning after a 15hr flight. He also allowed flexibility in checkout All in all, it is a great place to stay and I will visit here again

Kerri was an incredible host. The kindest and most flexible I’ve ever worked with. She also gave me the greatest treat by allowing me to celebrate new years on the roof. Cannot recommend her more.

Iain’s place was the perfect base camp for a first time visit to Auckland! The location was extremely walkable with Sky Tower being a couple of blocks away and only a 10 minute walk to the ferries/harbor. The apartment itself was clean from top to bottom. The high ceilings and natural light made the space feel open and comfortable. The washer + dryer were super convenient to keep things clean after day tours or beach time. Although I didn’t use the kitchen extensively, it had everything you would need for self sufficient meal prep. There are so many incredible restaurants within walking distance so you can’t go wrong. Small note - if you are visiting during a NZ holiday be aware that the place you pick your access card up from could be closed depending on when your flight lands. I made it there about 15 minutes before they planned on closing (would check with host on this prior to arrival). I highly recommend this place and would stay again on a return trip to Auckland. Great location , most restaurants and activities are about 5-10min drive , secure parking . Apartment has everything you need for a getaway .

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

Extremely happy with our trip. In particular, we enjoyed the small balcony overlooking the skyscrapers. The apartment is comfortable and very well located. The wifi shown is too weak, but Ted offered us another kiosk that proved effective. Recommended, of course. Bertrand and Isabelle

We had a fantastic stay at this waterfront apartment in Auckland! The location was absolutely perfect—right on the water with stunning views of the harbour, and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the ferry terminal. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was excellent throughout. They were responsive, friendly, and provided great local tips. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Auckland—perfect for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the city. Also, Bivacco is a must-try restaurant—delicious food and an amazing atmosphere!

Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Thank you so much for the most beautiful time we had.

Fantastic place a short walk from church road winery, nice and quiet. Pool and spa were not direct in front rather to the side on shared access. But nice relaxing stay either way. Great coffee options and kitchen/ living area.

Stunning location, Eisa’s photos do not do her lovely home justice! Her home is even more beautiful in person. Very open and relaxed atmosphere. Eisa is a great host and very proactive with great recommendations and very responsive. Clean and very straightforward check in/ out.

Nice house, close to town and well equipped.

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring.
