A great place to stay for our family. Although it's on a busy road the place felt peaceful and it was enjoyable to stay in. Spacious and light and comfortable. Our host quickly responded to questions and requests.

Nice quiet location a short distance from town. We had a great stay with all the comforts of home. Andres is a super host.

We had 4 nights here starting Christmas Eve. We took our own small twinkling Christmas tree which fitted perfectly in the lounge area. The trees lights complimented the beautiful lighting already in the cabin. This made for a perfect Christmas environment!! Our 2 teenagers were able to wake up to a lovely Christmas morning away from home. This is a beautiful private little cabin. Inside is luxurious, warm, cozy, quiet, private, with a large outdoor living area to enjoy! We loved all the little details that had been lovingly thought out for a luxury stay here. I loved the private outdoor bath. It rained a couple of days, and we still enjoyed the outdoor living areas as it’s well covered. We would love to stay again!😊

This house is spacious, tidy and has a large backyard which is fully fenced. We had a great time at the property with my dog and 2 young kids. The interior is open and spacious and has a nice living area with comfortable couches. We would definitely recommend this property to others with kids and a dog.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house, it is everything that is described and more. The house has heaps of space, all the rooms are generously sized and very well laid out. It is situated in a quiet area just on the edge of Taupo, so it is very easy to get in and out of. The whole house is very clean and tidy, one of the nicest houses we have stayed in.

Three very rainy days enjoyably spent at Sandy’s batch - the perfect retreat away from it all, and very comfortable. The DVD collection was just great whilst we were drying off, and ‘Atonement’ set the scene for tramping up the ANZAC walk. The kitchen had all utensils we needed, the beds were comfortable, double glazing kept the weather out. We would like to come back.

Vicky's place was exactly what we required for a quick overnight trip. Great facilities, warm, clean.Highly recommend.

Great place with amazing facilties and the hosts are really nice

Absolutely loved our stay at The Badger. There was a lot to do at the property, with no real need to leave. The bedroom sizes are perfect, and bathrooms well sized also. The gardens are lush and abundant, and the chickens provided daily eggs. The pool and spa always ready to go, and the tennis court an extra space for activity. The kitchen had everything needed, and was used a lot on our stay. Nathan is a very proactive and responsive host - thank you again, we will definitely be back. 😊

Coming down the long, tree lined drive past the main house and to our cottage felt like entering a Jane Austen novel. Definitely one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Godfrey and Crystal were lovely. They made sure we had everything we needed and more. Definitely would consider moving in permanently.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay here, the surrounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed the walks in Te Mata park nearby. Maxine and Thomas were very welcoming and attentive hosts, even helping us with some car trouble. Recommend!

Very well stocked, with everything we didn’t know we needed. Spa pool was a treat. Beds comfy. The aircon a must. Living spaces were large, which suited my family of adult children. Off street parking for three cars was needful. Big, flat, back yard with adult trees to sit under was lovely. Kereru and Tui were amusing and the neighbours cat got lots of pats. The shower is more of a mist than a shower, so take a bucket or bowl into the shower : ) It gets the sand off! Will definitely book again, IF she is available. Kia ora Sue.

Guest house next to the hosts house. From the bed and the sofa you have amazing views of the mountain and you can see the sea in the background . I would highlight the surroundings , very nice , full of exuberant vegetation. Very nice host. Very affectionate perritas, we loved them ❤️ Jacuzzi belongs to the main house but you can use it and relax with beautiful views. Despite being just a few meters from the main house you have privacy and do not need to close curtains for privacy. Very clean , tidy and well decorated with many details and utensils /appliances to be able to spend long seasons. In the kitchen they also leave you basic food stuff and they have had the Detail of leaving us nuts Unforgettable experience. We had come to know Ocean Beach and surroundings but it was so much Wind and rain we couldn't see the area so the best of that day was Kathryn's house where we rested and enjoyed the scenery . Thank you ❤️

we are overwhelmed how homey this place feels like. location was so close to cbd and town. Place also has close dairy. pretty much accessible to everything all amenities listed were on point. and appreciate Kirstin and Nick’s help and so responsive during our stay. love the fact that breakfast has been provided. highly recommended and will definitely rebook should we be in town. thank you Nick and Kristin for entrusting us ur place 😊

What a great place to stay! A charming house with a lot of space for our family, inside and outside in the lovely garden with the cozy deck. We enjoyed the arty and cosmopolitain set up of the house a lot. It is a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the lovely "National Aquaium of NZ". By car within 5 minutes you are in the nice city center of Napier, to walk would take you 15 minutes. We had three wonderful nights in Megans home. Thank you!

Exactly what we needed so we could attend a family reunion close by. Place was cozy with comfortable beds, everything we needed to sort out easy no cook dinner and we enjoyed the outdoor seating with a lovely garden. Breakfast supplies were great and coffee machine was much appreciated! Sue was discreet but attentive to our needs and checked in on us when we could hear music from over the hedge (midday only) that didn’t bother us at all. Thank you for an easy stay!

Overall great accommodation for my children and I, tidy and had everything we needed for an over night stay.
