Spacious apartment on 2 floors with large living/dining area on the upper floor. Fantastic views over Narvik and the fjord. Furnishings a bit outdated overall, but clean and well-equipped. Impeccable communication with the host. Piste skiers can be reached quickly (about 5 minutes on foot), with infants you have to walk uphill for about 30 minutes to reach Narvikfjället, where the magic carpet is located.

We had a great time and was even offered help with grocery's since it was a Sunday when we checked in, and the shops were closed. In the oven was freshly baked bread and hot coffee was available in the kitchen. I strongly recommend both the house and the hosts for anyone visiting Stokmarknes.

The views are Amazing! The house is easy to get to. We were able to see the Northern lights with a little drive farther north. Vidar was so kind in giving recommendations before we arrived. He was very prompt in his communications. There were no issues with the house. It was squeaky clean and so welcoming.

The place is absolutely terrific. Very modernly furnished and with a breathtaking view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. You feel right at home. Jann-Olav is a great host. Always available and helpful. We had great ski touring days. You can reach most of the great tours in a maximum of 20 minutes. With binoculars you can see the peaks from the terrace. We can recommend this place without reservation. We'll be back for sure.

Everything is very good Clean bed linens are available. All clean and tidy. Good beds and views. 2 times we are there. The landlord is very simple and works out. The view is amazing. Recommended!!

Super cute little house in a marvelous environment. We spent 3 lovely days at Mette’s place and enjoyed every moment. The place is really nice with all equipment and convenience to make you feel like home. The area is remote, quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for a nice walk. Mette is responsive and very friendly in her communication.

Roar’s cabin was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the location. The combination of towering mountains and the calm, glistening fjords was like stepping into a dream. I didn’t even have to leave the cabin to see the aurora borealis, it danced in its full glory across the sky, visible right from the terrace, and watching it felt like pure magic. Just make sure to turn off the lights! The cabin itself was perfect, cozy and spotlessly clean that I felt at home the instant I walked in, which is something I rarely experience when traveling. Every little detail seemed thoughtfully prepared to make me comfortable. And then there was Roar. What an incredible person, kind, helpful, and always ready with advice. Talking with him made the trip feel even more personal and special. His warmth and hospitality truly set this place apart. Staying at his cabin wasn’t just a getaway, it was an experience that touched our soul in a deep way!

This is a very special place, in a really extraordinary region. The house is very comfortable and has a great deal of character, and lovely art. The town nearby has whatever you need. I was glad I had a car, to be able to explore the larger area. I stayed for six week and hated to leave. Lovely hosts too.

We have had 4 wonderful days. The sorroundings are wonderful, we went hiking and swimming, we ate blueberries, cloudberries, raspberries... Your beaches are spectacular. The lady at the shop has been amiable and friendly. And we really enjoy your house, its vivid colours, its ancient roots, its old wooden floor, its vintage forniture.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is like a private Naturobservatorium! The welcome and care by Ann Karin was incredibly warm and the house very comfortable. Nature is unique.

We felt very comfortable in Eivinds and Kristin's house from the beginning, nothing was missing, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Communication with both was very good. We love to relax by the fireplace after a day out and were worried that the existing wood for 3 evenings is not enough. Without hesitation, Eivind activated his father and shortly after, there was an additional wooden bag outside the door. His family also surprised us with freshly roasted fish fries - a great and warm gesture! The sauna is also great and very spacious. The bed for two quite tight, soft mattress, the bedding is great and cuddly! We can fully recommend the house.

absolutely loved staying at the cabin, wish I could have stayed longer! Host very responsive and is fluent in English too (helpful for us) the views around the cabin are breathtaking the cabin was clean, warm and well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was dreamy and very large.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The positioning of the home allows for inside viewing of the Northern Lights. We also were treated to a NL performance in the spa! If you are looking to relax and seek calm, this is your place.

Host: Friendly, patient, helpful. Accommodation: a beautiful house, with a private road and property. A great view, whether living room or bedroom/bathroom. Would love to come back. Dogs were also no problem. In front of the house you can also fish🎣. Since it snowed the whole time (early/mid-April), the private road to the driveway was even cleared for us by "the neighbors?"
