B&B Wachtpost 29, real gem in the middle of nature

What was once a train track from Boxtel to Wesel has now become a beautiful walking trail through the natural wealth surrounding Houtvennen. Our guest house stands dead centre in this area! We call it a B&B because we serve a royal breakfast after every night of your stay. Simultaneously, it’s a magnificent vacation home with complete privacy in an environment where you can go for a walk, go cycling, but also just relax. One of our guests called it “A real gem”. And that’s a fact.

In the summer, cool room with breakfast

Room including breakfast with ample views. Shared use of toilet and bathroom with bathtub. The guest room is on the first floor. The room is pleasantly cool in summer. During the day, there is a bus to GelreDome and to the city center every 15, sometimes 10 minutes. Only 5 minutes walk to the bus. There is free parking in front of the door. Arnhem has a beautiful city center, Burgers Busch, the Sonsbeekpark, and of course the Open Air Museum, which includes the Zaanse Schans.

Relax and unwind in our stylishly furnished B&B. Enjoy the beautiful nature in the area, where you can enjoy cycling and hiking, among other things. About us: From a passion for hospitality and the desire for more peace and greenery around us, I moved with my family to this beautiful place to enjoy and to start a B&B. After months of renovation, this is the result, and I am only too happy to share it with you. O and my hobby too: freshly baked sourdough bread.

A unique overnight stay in a studio above the former pigsty. Farmhouse studio Lovenem is located on the first floor of the former pigsty and is therefore also briefly called "the pigsty". This old barn has its own entrance. The guesthouse consists of one large room where you can recreate, sleep and work. Farmhouse studio Lovenem is at the edge of the village of Leuvenheim, directly at the cycling and hiking trails of the Veluwe.

Next to Den Bramel Castle in the Achterhoek scenery is our beautiful farmhouse Joostink. On the Pieterpad and many hiking and biking routes. You will stay in the former part. Tailor-made breakfast possible at a cost (15€ = pppd)

Hidden in a green garden in Amerongen is this detached cottage. The ideal starting point to explore the beautiful surroundings. Deep forests, the river landscape, historic estates and castles invite you to make beautiful walking and cycling tours. In 2018, the mountain bike route of Amerongen was proclaimed the most beautiful in the Netherlands. We warmly welcome you for a wonderful stay.

In our stay ‘t Veldkuikentje you can optimally enjoy your stay in the countryside between Apeldoorn and Teuge. 't Veldkuikentje offers as a B&B/Holiday home space for 1-6 people in addition, the space is also used as a meeting room for up to 12 people. Lots of atmosphere, comfort and privacy in an environment that has a lot to offer in terms of nature and entertainment for young and old!

It is a great base for cycling, mountain biking, hiking in this versatile area. The historic (shopping) city of Nijmegen with shops, restaurants and museums is 10 km away. The bus stops in front of the door, station at 2 km. .
