Vacation rentals with a sauna in Nidwalden

Enjoyed our stay! Wonderful location

We had a magical week at Thomas’s place. The place was perfect in every way with the most beautiful views of the valley, wonderfully cozy and well appointed space. The sauna was definitely a perk! Thomas was an amazing host, went above and beyond, giving us the friendliest welcome and great recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve encountered during our years with Airbnb! And Engelberg is a wonderful place, especially for families. The whole town is very child friendly in terms of the restaurants, playgrounds, and accessibility. We spent the whole time at Brunni which was perfect for our toddler in terms of bunny slopes and playgrounds (and a few blue and red runs for us). We took the bus a block from the apartment to the train station, then a quick transfer to a second bus, on the slopes in less than 15 minutes! Brunni has lockers so we stored all our equipment overnight. Hope we can make it back to Engelberg next season and stay at Thomas’s place!

Very nice apartment with an excellent location for us who visit Engelberg for skiing. I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

The apartment is very clean and really has everything you need. The landlords are very nice. You can reach the valley station in 10 minutes - we were even able to borrow a parking card for the Titlis valley station. Thank you! We will be happy to come back.

Great apartment on 2 floors with super views from the upper bedroom and cozy fireplace. Sauna, steam room for private use were great, top location just outside the village, therefore quiet, but vis-a-vis from Brunni trains. Everything worked out great, we will be happy to come back!

This place shows much better than the pictures. It was quiet, great location and such a great town. The pool was quiet and relaxing after a long day of hiking. There were a few things advertised that were difficult to find and we had to ask, like the pool, laundry and parking spot. There was a playground that was small but big enough to entertain the kids a bit. We would definitely go back and loved the town.

We would give Thomas 10 stars if we could. Absolutely the best AirBnB experience. Such a kind and accommodating host that made us feel very welcome in Switzerland. The chalet was unique, sparkling clean, and the views simply cannot be beat. Would absolutely stay again!

This condo is simply stunning! Words cannot fully describe the breathtaking view right out of the living room! The home was spotless, well provisioned, and was beyond perfection for families! The upstairs loft area was a dream come true for my son and the hosts were able to provide a crib for our daughter, which made our long travel absolutely worth it. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed and we even made fondue one evening which felt just right on after a day on the slopes. This places was exactly what we needed to have a relaxing and lavish ski week come true in Engelberg!

Beautiful, light and spacious apartment with a wonderful sunny balcony and modern kitchen. Perfect location - quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes walk to the train station, gondola and restaurants. Fabrizio and Katja were very welcoming on arrival and always on hand if we had any questions. Highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Grit & Ernst. The apartment is cozy and very spacious. The sofa corner is inviting for relaxation. In the spacious kitchen area there is plenty of storage space and everything your heart desires. The dining table is located under a skylight that reveals the view of the trees and thus provides a wonderful feeling. Here, too, the space is generously sized. The "bedroom corner" is also very spacious and equipped with plenty of storage space. Everything, including the very large bathroom, was sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. On the adjoining balcony there is enough space to linger and we were able to enjoy the afternoon sun. Grit and Ernst were very accessible and our dog was also warmly welcomed. Breathtaking view 🤩 ! Worth to go and chill in the spa ! Owners are living upstairs but it's as if they were not there, the space felt very private. We had a resourcing time with lake and mountains ✨️✨️ I only briefly met Rudolf when he set up the spa for us - he was super friendly !

Loft am See was such a beautiful little haven of peace. I loved that it was located in Weggis and just a short drive to Lucerne and other surrounding towns. Rita was very responsive and her recommendations were very good and reliable. It was clear from the style of her loft that the recommendations would be good. The loft itself was welcoming, charming, comfortable, and stylish. It had everything we needed for making food and enjoying the view. The amenities (i.e., towels, outdoor furniture, sauna, etc.) were wonderful and clean. Being able to use the sauna and then jump in the lake was unbeatable and the property itself was quite private which was helped by the very quiet and peaceful town of Weggis. The town was lovely to take a run through in the morning for exercise and there was a very cute park right next to the loft. Overall, it was genuinely wonderful and a great choice for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed at Roger’s place for a few days on our way to Austria, driving there from Zurich Airport. His apartment was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever rented—new, modern, and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roger was always just a text away and responded within minutes to any questions we had. The apartment’s location is excellent, offering stunning views, and the interior looks even better than it does in the pictures on Airbnb. If I’m ever in the Zurich or Lucerne area again, I would definitely stay here. Thank you, Roger!

Maria was a wonderful host! The place was as described. The Swiss breakfast was great! Nice and quiet even with shared spaces. We hope to come back to Luzern and stay again someday.

With friends we spent the ski holidays in Disentis and enjoyed the time very much. The house is perfectly furnished and all desirable details are available. Despite little snow, we easily got to the main gondola in Disentis. Sedrun/Andermatt are also easily accessible, but coordination with the public transport schedules in advance is worth it. We can highly recommend the house and the hosts

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants, hikes, and places to go. The home was outside of town with spectacular views, peaceful evenings and lots of room to roam. Would definitely recommend!

Lidiya was very helpful, friendly and reliable in contact. She was quick to respond to various detailed inquiries and requests. She was quickly available or gave advance notice of her absence, which significantly exceeds the expectations of an Air B'n'B host. Our group (12 people) really enjoyed the stay. The kitchen/living room was large enough to eat inside together. The rooms are very different and lovingly furnished, as well as well soundproofed, so that some could sleep early and were not disturbed by the noise of the others. In addition, there are 4 bathrooms with toilet/shower, which was a pleasant surprise, as there were never any waiting times. The sauna was much appreciated, was warmly furnished with beautiful views of the lake, suitable for 6-8 people. The hotpot is also suitable for up to 5-6 people.

Beautiful view of the lake and the opposite shore towards Blumenberg. Ideal are not only the large garden and the diverse offer for outdoors (boats, SUPs, etc.) but also the well-equipped kitchen. Top cleanliness throughout the house. The nearby highway was a small drop in strength. Thanks to the top hosts Chantal and family for the comfortable stay in the lake villa.

It was a pleasure to be there. The accommodation is charmingly located on the slope and offered everything we dreamed of. 5-star! We'll be back
