We had an excellent time during our stay. The house was exactly as advertised—very nice and exceptionally clean. The pool was fantastic, and we had an entire beach to ourselves. The highlight, however, was hiring Jujo as a private chef; the food was absolutely outstanding. I’m only concerned that we’ve now set the bar too high when it comes to future travels and private chefs! This was a perfect space for us and our friends to relax and have fun.

Our family of 12 escapes on vacation once a year and Our stay at this sanctuary was phenomenal!! Down to the last detail everything was thought about. The house was gorgeous and Adi was incredible at helping us with every little thing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat - beautiful beautiful beautiful - a true paradise - highly recommended!

Kendra is an excellent host, the best I’ve had on the platform. And her place is magical- a stunning jungle retreat in a quaint neighborhood of Nosara. The proximity to Esh Hotel was lovely too, for a quick adventure for food and drinks. I can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ocaso! Perfect getaway in a stunning house with gorgeous views. Pictures don’t do this place justice. WOW. Pool with that view is unreal. Gym facing those same views we learned was designed by an actual Navy SEAL! We also loved the lounge with a giant TV and games for chill time. All of the guest rooms were so comfortable, elegant, plush, with sweet touches like each of the rooms having a subtle theme specific to Costa Rica. Glennis, the house manager, was fabulous! Between booking private chefs, private yoga classes on the deck overlooking the ocean, in-house massages, private sunset catamaran cruise, and in-house authentic Costa Rican pottery making class, she made sure we had an amazing, easy trip arranged! When we decided to spend an afternoon on the beach (2 minute drive down the hill), the house staff went down before us, set up lounge chairs, snacks, towels, sunscreen, under an umbrella for us! Amazing service and house!

When it comes to an airbnb, you don't always know what you will get when you arrive. At Larry & Reina's, you can expect it to be exactly like the photos. The house was beautifully decorated, furniture was clean, and it was the perfect spot for our family for the week. The house staff (Mely as the property liason & Xiomara as cook) were friendly and quick to respond. We had a little hiccup on our arrival with the lock, but Mely arrived shortly and helped us in and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. We loved the monkey visits in the early morning. Don't miss the local acitivites- Black Stallion Eco Ranch has an awesome zipline tour and we loved the "Chocolate Experience" tour at Reina's Chocolate. The evenings were peaceful around the pool and Xiomara made it a true vacation by handling dinner each evening. (Her ceviche was delicious!) Overall, we had a wonderful stay. we just returned from a 10-day stay and the house was one of the highlights of our visit! beautiful, stunning views and plenty of space, with addition decks and a casita for those looking for more privacy. It was the perfect size for our family of 8. the house concierge, Adrianna, was extraordinarily helpful and responsive, (answering calls and questions on Christmas!), assisting us with booking excursions, rental cars and airport shuttles. The location is excellent, and the home is located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars of Tamarindo, which is a LIVELY place. as previous reviews have noted the home is at the top of a large hillside (about 900-1,000 ft) so a vehicle is highly recommended. The development is gated, and the friendly guard house allowed us to park our vehicle at the bottom of the hill so we didn't have to deal with traffic or finding parking, and then you can easily walk anywhere you need to go. LOVED it.

Karina and the entire staff were incredible from start to finish. Everything was taken care of and every detail covered. Breakfast each morning was delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The best memories and best time was had by all thanks to Karina and the entire staff at the Sunset House.
