Vacation rentals with a patio in Nicoya

The only negative thing I can say is that I wish I had longer than a week! The place was exactly as described and has the calming feel of living in a tree house. Andreas was always super accommodating to my last minute booking and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. The open air screened kitchen and living room is definitely a plus. I could enjoy the feeling of being outside without any mosquitoes and sheltered from the rain. I didn’t have a car but walking around was no issue. Many short cuts if you walk along the beach and Tuk Tuk’s are a super easy way to get around. So much gratitude for such a friendly experience my first time in Nosara!

For romance or family time this is the perfect spot.The property is spacious, and well-maintained,with a fully equipped kitchen.The backyard and pool feel like a tropical paradise,making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.I love cooking and grilling.However, if you’d rather not cook, there are several restaurants and grocery stores nearby, many within walking distance.Since there aren’t traditional addresses in the area, reaching out to them for directions if you get lost they’re very helpful.If you’re planning a trip to Costa Rica, renting a 4x4 vehicle is essential.Even urban areas can have steep, unpaved roads.For those traveling from Liberia or San José, avoid the Monkey Trail unless you’re comfortable driving through rivers. Instead, take the Congo Trail though it costs about $10 USD or local equivalent. So many gorgeous beaches,perfect for watching sunrises or sunsets.I’m already looking forward to visiting again.Thanks to Camille, Nick, and Daniel.Highly recommended.

Casa 2001 is outstanding! This BnB is perfect for two people looking to crash, cook food, enjoy the jungle, and get to the beach! Lucas owns Surf Club 33 and provides discount rentals/lessons. We love the surf shop! During our stay the rains were relentless during a National emergency and we had an issue with some water. Lucas was ontop of the situation and able to respond very quickly. Thanks to him we were able to still have a very enjoyable stay in Tamarindo.

Chill adults only boutique hotel. Staff is very welcoming, flexible and helpful. Right off the town center so everything is walkable, but far enough away from the bars so not too noisy at night. Pool is nice and clean. Container rooms were pretty tight on space but running water and a/c worked great.

Tim and Lucia were great hosts and very helpful. They know all the goings on in their area and we had an amazing time in Puerto Carrillo thanks to them.

The view is worth it at this place! You definitely need a car with high clearance to get to the building since it's up a steep dirt road. You can walk to the beach/into town, but note there are a lot of stairs to get back. We just ended up driving most of the time since there's street parking everywhere. Overall it's a nice place to stay with an amazing view of Samara!

Ana’s place is conveniently located close to the main strip of Tamarindo. Upon arrival we noted that both mattresses were uncomfortable and asked if Ana could get us a mattress topper and she got it the next day which was super helpful for both of us with ailments. Ana was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Nathan’s in Junquillal was fantastic. Nathan is a great host. Very responsive and attentive. There’s plenty to do nearby and tons of wildlife and beautiful fauna. Playa Junquillal is a short 5 minute walk from the property, and it’s beautiful. I highly recommend this place and I’d love to stay again.

This villa is the best in Santa! Beautiful and full of character. It is thoughtfully designed, decorated, and stocked with all the necessities. The view is unmatched and the garden is beautifully cared for. There are a lot of villas in Santa but none quite as magical as this one. Can’t wait to return.

Benton’s place was absolutely fantastic! We were a group of 6 and had plenty of room for all of us +some. The views were UNMATCHED. I would argue that this property has some of the best views I’ve ever seen. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed the pool, lounge chairs, grill and large kitchen. The nearby grocery store was perfect to grab everything you need to stock up. We also enjoyed the quick drive (or walk) down to the beach. Benton and David were very communicative and checked in to make sure we were having a good time, and made known that they were available if needed. Overall, wonderful place to stay and a true highlight of our trip!

Ed snd Lyn are the best, and their home equally so! Very respectful and super friendly, it was a delight to run into them but it does feel like your own slice of paradise. Sincerely couldn’t recommend a better place or hosts in Sámara!

A beautiful home with everything you need to stay comfortable in middle of the jungle. Looks like the pictures. Beautiful view. Super hospitable host. The road up to the house is quite an adventure (use a 4x4!). Definitely recommend Casa Layla if you’re looking for a super relaxing, remote, beautiful, natural atmosphere with Santa Teresa accessible.

Our family had a great time spending a week at Casa Izquierda. We saw monkeys everyday eating and playing in the trees above the house and we loved being surrounded by the lush jungle and nature. We used the bikes to get to the beach and into town, are at the local soda restaurants nearby and the market nearby had all the food and amenities you could want. Loved the outdoor shower and having laundry with a dryer on-site was a luxury! Maria was super kind and helpful, very attentive to our questions and needs. Overall I’d highly recommend 1-2 families staying here and enjoying all the home and Samara has to offer. Thank you for a perfect week!

We stayed in Cally + Scott’s place for almost 2 months with our 2 young boys (5+3) The place itself is exactly like the pictures. Everything is brand new and beautiful. Communicating with Scott was very easy. We needed to be in contact a few times over the 2 month stay and he was always very responsive, kind and helpful! They have bikes you can rent which came in handy a few times and the beach and town are all within 5-10 minutes walking. We had house cleaners set up by them 1 time a week which was amazing for a long term stay, things like dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc. were always restocked. The size of the pool at the Casita is perfect for our 2 young boys, but would probably be small if staying with older kids. But for us we loved it! Definitely love the location, the privacy and being close to everything we cared about!! Would absolutely recommend staying here and any property run by Cally + Scott!!

Casa Bosque checked every box on my list for being the perfect family getaway. Not only was the description spot on but it exceeded our expectations! Our hosts Forest and Andrea were exceptionally helpful and responsive to ensure we had the very best vacation; so much that we extended our stay! We felt very safe and secure and had the feel of a private retreat. The home itself is beautiful, along with the grounds, thanks to groundskeeper Arlen! Beachfront access is exactly as described and fluctuates with the tides. If you are in search of beauty, tranquility, a little bit of adventure, away from crowds and a great local vibe, Casa Bosque will not disappoint! We will be back!!

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we've had. The concierge team that assisted with this property is top notch. Frank, our contact, is truly THE BEST. Our plans were completely curtailed by a tropical storm in the area and Frank came to our rescue with new activities, restaurant reservations and helped us extend our rental car reservation (twice!). The home itself is absolutely beautiful. Very clean, quiet, well-stocked and with gorgeous views inside a 24-hour guarded neighborhood. We are already looking to plan another trip with family to stay at one of Kelsey's beautiful, well-managed properties. Thank you for a great stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days. Sebastian was very responsive and friendly and provided many local recommendations for us when it came to restaurants, beaches and a local grocery store. The airbnb is pretty much just like the pictures and it is spacious enough for 2 people. The sunsets we saw were incredible and the pool was super clean. For the most part, the pool was pretty private. My bf and I walked to Flamingo Beach which was about a 25 min walk and also walked to A lo’ Nico for breakfast (also about a 20 min walk). One thing I would highly recommend is renting a car if you are staying here. You can only get to the Airbnb through one dirt road and because it rained so heavily the last 2 weeks, there was one specific area that was hard for our Ubers to get through. If you order an Uber, make sure it’s Comfort because you have a better chance of being picked up in a 4x4.

One of my favorite Airbnbs of the 30+ places I've stayed at around the world. Beautiful design, Spryos in an exceptional host, and Santa Teresa is a beautiful place. Would recommend to anyone.

Our stay at Reserva Conchal was perfect for our family of six. It was easy to coordinate renting a golf cart and finding our way around to the different activities. The beach, beach and pool club, and golf were all great too. The property was tidy and newly renovated. It was a great starting off point for our week in Costa Rica.
