The tastefully furnished house of Geraldine and Abou is right on the river. The location is great. The pavilion was also a landing stage for our private boat trips with Moustafa. You can experience romantic sunsets all to yourself. G & A were very helpful and organized everything for us, it was perfect. We spent a nice and impressive day on the boat with Moustafa and he showed us the Saloum Delta. He prepared a fine meal for us on the no-stress island. They were all unforgettable experiences. Valerie was not there during our stay but the Senegalese made us feel welcome. We had a problem with electricity but Valerie fixed it. If you go there take some jam and other food. In the evening they cook Wonderfull dishes but.for breakfast you can only get bread. If you want alcohol take it with you, there are 2 little townships but they do not have a lot, for sure no alcohol! Recommended space for relaxing, swimming in the river and walk through an authentic Senegalese village...

Very beautiful villa located just by the beach with a very large pool. The floor is beautiful, decorated with great care. It overlooks the sea and the pool surrounded by its beautiful garden. It was a pleasure to spend the warm nights of Sine Saloum lulled by the lapping of the waves. The landlord Anna who lives next door helped us during the stay to welcome us, advise us and put us in touch with the right people for our Delta visit. Maybe a small downside to Diane, the Malinois shepherd who keeps the villa. Although nice she still tends to jump on people. So I preferred to keep it in its niche because we had two children with us.

Laurent's house is beautiful, very clean and very well decorated. The access to the beach with the small dock is amazing, a place disconnected from the world. No hotels around only fishermen and locals who come and swim. The caretaker was very attentive and helped us and give lots of advice, we even had to eat with him! A great stay!
