My mum and I had a fantastic weeklong stay at Sajniʻs in Feb! The location is unbeatable—right on Park Street with easy access to plenty of dining and shopping, including some of Calʻs beautiful old architecture. Despite being in a bustling neighborhood, the apartment building itself is quiet and offers a peaceful retreat from the city's energy. The apartment is spacious, well-furnished, and thoughtfully decorated with an impressive collection of artwork. Our private room was comfortable, equipped with a large, comfy bed, table, large sofa, AC, a TV, minifridge, and plenty of storage space. The attached bathroom was clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast every morning with Sajniʻs other guests and all the assistance from Baleshwar! Overall, this Airbnb is a great choice for anyone visiting Kolkata. It offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality the city is quintessentially known for.

The flat was very well maintained and comfortable. Since our stay was during Kolkata winter we did not get to use the AC, however all the other appliances were in perfect working condition. The location is a residential neighbourhood and is perfect for those who love walking. It is also within a 2 minutes walk away from one of the major arterial roads and therefore never had a problem in finding transportation at any time. Supriya was very responsive and extremely helpful. The caretaker lady was regular, prompt, courteous and efficient. We are thankful to Supriya for hosting us and look forward to visiting again!

Narayani’s place was like home away from home. It was extremely cozy and centrally located place. Her kitchen is well equipped which was a plus point for our group as we cook all our meals. Hygiene and cleanliness was top notch. The support staff was on toes all the time. Narayani herself was so gracious and hospitable. She came to meet us when we reached and also bid us goodbye on our departure which was really sweet and thoughtful. Will definitely recommend the place to others.

Rajesh is a great host, very efficient right from the moment I received my booking confirmation. The apartment was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The maid who made breakfast and cleaned the apartment was very sweet and helpful. I would definitely book another visit whenever I’m in town again.

Staying at Rajesh’s place was magnificent. This was the best accommodation we’ve stayed in in India - and we’ve stayed in a lot of places! 🇮🇳❤️ We truly loved staying at Rajesh’s place, it felt like coming home to an old friend. From homemade food options to the small sachets of soap and shampoo to tea and coffee in the room - 5 stars! I had a small leg injury and Rajesh provided me with an ice pack for pain relief - thanks a billion for that! :) This place is the perfect mixture of simplicity and service. Rajesh answered all our questions about Kolkata and we felt very well taken care of. If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is your place! Rajesh’s place also has fitness equipment and a Western style bathroom. It doesn’t matter if you’re Indian or a foreigner, you’ll surely love staying at Rajesh’s place. Thank you! 😊 🙏

I had a really great stay. This place has everything I could ask for - privacy, uninterrupted internet for my office work, homely food, really friendly staff, great recommendations for the places to visit and eat, and what not. Definitely recommended to fellow travellers.

Great place next to Kali temple at Dakshineswar. Kanti was responsive and provided accurate instructions and also the place was just as described. wifi was a bit flaky as it was available (only partially) from one of the rooms and that too not always stable. But otherwise it's a great location and nice place. thanks Kanti for being a great host

Lovely stay, great location, Sajni and Baleshwara were both very helpful and friendly. The location is unbeatable and very quiet even though its just off Park Street. Very secure and the space has everything we needed. Sajni helped us with many reccomendations and helped us book train tickets which was really great to have. Would happily stay again. I think it was on the pricier side but the location is very convenient for exploring the city and having homemade breakfast was very convenient for us.

This was our best stay in Airbnb in Kolkata so far. Clean and spacious place with proper ventilation. Location is good, calm and quiet. Host Sohini, other assistants are very cooperative. I would strongly recommend this place.

Great 1BHK apartment for both short or long stays, with many useful amenities provided. The kitchen is well-equipped as well. The neighborhood is clean, quiet and safe; Uber is available quite easily if you need to go to other parts of Kolkata. Staff are very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommended.

First off, the host is wonderful and ensured that we were good during check-in. It is quite safe as well. Security at the location is also a huge plus point and host is just a call away in case of any queries. The apartment is located close to the market and food joints/cafes/restaurants. It's very convenient as well to get a taxi/Uber/Auto. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking something close to Rajarhat or Newtown.

Shaita's place was the perfect getaway and home away from home for me for a couple days that I stayed there. I was interacting with her Fiance who was super responsive, polite, friendly and very thorough. The place was very easy to locate and he sent me a video from the main street to the location that was very helpful! The place and decor are very nicely done - and I can recognize people who have a good taste and class :-) There are subtle additions and amenities that you will notice are very tastefully selected and I am not talking about the projection screen and fancy lighting lol - which is awesome as well! The room is very cozy and it's very impressive how they have managed to design it and accomodate pretty much everything in such a small area. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will definately reccommend this place to other people.

the rent should have been around 3k..I found it to be on the higher side compared to market standards.

If you are on business tour to Kolkata and has work in Rajarhat, Newtown or salt lake , this place is great to stay. Food is good and staff is supportive.

I had a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly hospitable, responding promptly to messages and even leaving a few thoughtful touches, like snacks and local recommendations.

The room is too good. You can go with your partner. The ambience is awesome, the room is awesome. If you want to spend quality time with your partner its the best place. And you will have an wonderful experience from the Host as she is too friendly and too kind and helpful. And she cooks delicious food. All total you will have the best experience.

Nice homely place in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy to reach by taxi. Good budget place to stay for a few days. Also delicious home-cooked food is available at a very reasonable price. Anand made the place feel like home, would love to stay again if back in Kolkata.
