Jack's Wonder Inn (Starlink/Woodfired Hot Tub)

PedroRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Perfect cabin for 2 couples and 4 youth. Breathtaking views! It has one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. Also, it’s pet friendly! The cabin was super clean, well designed & equipped with everything we needed and more! As soon as we arrived we first filled the hot tub, and then started some firewood (weather was humid, a starter log is recommended) for a very zen and relaxing experience. We roasted bratwursts in the fire pit and had ping pong, foosball, & video game tournaments with the family. You can tell the excellence with which the owners administer this property by the great quality and state of all the amenities. They gave clear instructions for the self check-in/out, for the hot tub, and contacted us mid-stay to make sure everything was ok. We stopped at Crystal Bridges Museum on the way to the cabin, which, in addition to the natural trails and stunning landscapes made this an unforgettable weekend. Gracias Tyler!

Buffalo River/2 bd/hot tub/mountain view

GraceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cabin was an amazing getaway! Its location is perfect—plenty to do with the mountains and river nearby. And the cabin is also the perfect place to relax and do nothing. We enjoyed the lovely views from the hot tub and ate every meal on the porch. The beds were comfy, the bathroom had plenty of towels, and the kitchen had enough amenities to cook everything we needed. The overall retro vibe of the place made it even more cozy. Not difficult to find either and only a short time spent driving on a gravel road. The hosts include an amazingly thorough guide of the area, including dozens of restaurants, hikes, and attractions. You can tell they put a lot of love and thought into hosting. We will definitely be back if possible and have already recommended this place to friends and family :)

Mountain Springs Sunset with Hot Tub and Fire Pit

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in March. It got super windy and a couple of storms, but we felt comfy and cozy in Jessica's place. All of the cooking accoutrements were top notch, the views from the porch swing were amazing (especially the sunsets), and the bed was super comfortable. It was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. Jessica provided some excellent guidebooks to area hikes and sights and some snacks and water to keep us going on the trails. Can't recommend highly enough.

Buffalo Wilderness Area Cabin

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a very secluded, quiet and peaceful location. It was clean and very comfortable. WiFi worked great which was important since there was no phone service for several miles. The hot tub was great. I suggest having offline maps available to navigate the area. I used my Gaia service which was extremely handy. Follow the hosts suggestions on bringing all the food and supplies for your stay since Ponca is a 45 minute drive.

Blue Moon Cabin in the Ozarks, near Buffalo River

KarlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Third time at the Blue Moon Cabin. What a wonderful place. The kids and I spent the weekend exploring the local area for waterfalls. They had a book in the cabin that helped us find some lesser known falls. If you are headed to Newton co, to paddle, fish, climb, hike or explore. This is a fabulous location.

Mama Bear at Buffalo River by Goldilocks Cabins

ImorieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was definitely home away from home! The cabin is in a beautiful private area that really made us feel like we were lost in the woods. We enjoyed the bonfire making smores, and star gazing at night. The cabin itself was just perfect. Very cozy and clean. We went the day after Christmas so we truly loved and appreciated the festive decorations and the Christmas tree. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenic areas. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Dianne for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.

The Cabin at Tall Pine Grove

JuleeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved the peace and solitude of Tall Pine Grove. We explored the creeks and trails on the property and spent most of our time outside. We brought headlamps for after dark exploring and were able to find a very cool milk snake. We didn’t want to leave!

Big Oak Cabin - Mountaintop lodging in the Ozarks

FelixRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We planned this as a 4-day waterfall chasing adventure and Dennis and Naomi were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs, providing us with a list of the 5 best waterfalls to see and providing us with several interactive maps that were developed by a notable "waterfall chaser". As our rental period approached, the weather forecast showed cold and rainy for our entire 4-day stay. We decided to follow through with the rental and Dennis provided additional tips on hiking in the rain. Then, I threw out my back the day before our trip was to start, but once again we decided to follow through. We arrived late at night but with Dennis' guidance were able to find Big Oak Cabin with no trouble at all. Dennis further assisted by providing a list of the 5 best short and easy waterfall trails. Dennis was extremely responsive to other requests for assistance. The vacation turned out to be one of the most memorable we've had. thank you Dennis and Naomi!!

Whippoorwill Run cabin a romantic couples retreat

I would 1000% come back. We loved our stay. Sadly we had to cut our stay short due to crazy Arkansas weather back home, but the owner was so understanding. They even sent us a message with a refund on the night we did not get to stay! We can’t wait to go back for our makeup trip.

Our stay at the cabin was so peaceful! We loved the wrap-around porch and the views of nature were amazing, especially at sunset. The space was very clean and tidy and we had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Rebecca gave very clear directions to get there plus local recommendations. The drive up there was beautiful as well! If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in the woods but within driving distance of many outdoor activities, stay here!

Lotus Point

PatrickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing this serene cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, a short drive up from Jasper - it was truly an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living area was ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. DSL internet was available, although Starlink would be a good upgrade for the owner to consider. One of the highlights was the proximity to the Little Buffalo River. The views are breathtaking - go down to the guest cabin if foliage is blocking the view from the house - and it was fun to explore the grounds and path down to the river, which had a variety of trees, rock, floodplain, and even a swimming area near the embankment. Whether you're looking to swim, kayak, or simply sit by the water with a good book, this location offers it all. We hope to return!

Bea's Cottage

There was a bit of traffic in and out so if you want something secluded and quiet this isn’t the place. The creek runs right behind the cabin so you can hear it running all night and that is really peaceful. Would be a fun place in the summer! There is no WiFi or satellite but you can hook up your own hotspot to the TV.
