Fantastic value, very nice host, can’t beat it. Parking was a little tricky, but J took care of us, even when we came back for the night super late. The space was in the middle of an update, but offered more than expected. Can’t beat it for the value. Literally steps from a very quiet beach!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Amazing place to stay! We had such a great time staying here! The host was very friendly and responsive! Everything was clean and there were so many amenities and extras that made us feel very welcomed! Enjoyed the location and close proximity to the beach and other local attractions! We will definitely stay here again!

Our family had a great time at Catherine's place. It's a quick 5-7 minute drive to historic Cape Charles with shops and dining and also the beach. The house had a cute, beachy decor with little areas like the game room and the back sun porch where our family could spread out when needed. The kitchen had everything we needed ...there is great local seafood nearby so we did a big dinner one night. Besides going into Cape Charles, we enjoyed a morning at Kiptopeke State park which is about 10 minutes away. They have bikes and kayaks to rent as well as a nice beach area. This house was perfect for exploring the Eastern Shore of Va!

From the moment I arrived, Christina’s warm hospitality made me feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. It’s clear that Christina puts a lot of care into maintaining a welcoming and cozy environment. The bed was super comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the little extra touches, like [mention any special detail, e.g., fresh flowers, snacks, local recommendations], truly made a difference. One of the highlights of my stay was Christina’s attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond!

We were in town for a wedding at the historic post office venue. This location could not have been more convenient or perfect for our group of 8 adults. There was plenty of parking and it was safe in addition to being easy to walk to restaurants/attractions. The backyard is large and fenced in with a nice view of the creek. The kitchen and baths were spotless and have been recently renovated. We all agreed we would choose this home over any hotel downtown and will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Mark is very hospitable and went out of his way to ensure our stay was excellent. The room and experience far exceeded our expectations. It was great to feel so comfortable and relaxed. The bedroom and batrhoom were very clean. The coffee and breakfast were a bonus. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. This was our best experience with an airbnb.

This is a large house with lots of space, very clean but very sparsely furnished. If you use the den room as a bedroom than there isn't a great communal space to hang out all together. You can eat together in the dining room but only other couches are in entry way. One of the bedrooms has literally only a bed in it. We thought it would be really nice to be on a river, maybe even swim but there is a lot of overgrown plants that sort of block the view, the dock is not very sturdy and the river itself is pretty brown and uninviting. I may have been our bad for expecting it to be nicer that way. Host couldnt have been nicer or more responsive.
