Enjoyed our stay very much, very close to sugar.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be. The morning walks and setting on the back porch watching the sun go down was just the break we needed. The cabin was beautiful. The road up from main road can be a little tricky, definitely need 4 wheel drive in the winter months I’m sure.

Stayed here as a birthday/anniversary trip and really enjoyed our stay! Linville Caverns, Grand Father Mountain, and quite a few other cool mountain areas are not too far away. The Tin Trout is a great local restaurant, if anyone who see’s this review before staying has the chance to, highly recommend it. The house was clean, and wasn’t nearly as hard to get to as I thought it might be. But my little Scion made it up the mountain, so I think about anyone should be good getting there. The area has also recovered a lot from the hurricane. Highly recommend staying here, and definitely explore local areas!

Eric was great had everything turned on and a fire started when we arrived. It was extremely peaceful, we loved listening to the roaring creek at night which made it that much more relaxing. It was definitely 10/10 and will definitely be staying again!
