Vacation rentals in Newcastle Island

David left us a lovely bottle of red wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved walking along the water in the adjoining park. This place is a great location for seeing other attractions on the island and forgetting on and off the ferry. Thank you so much David for your gracious hospitality.

Super location with beach access for great low tide walks. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by, a few are walking distance the rest are a short drive. Andrew's place is very quiet, nicely appointed, has everything you need, very comfortable. Highly recommend checking it out if you're coming to Parksville !

This is our second year and it feels like we found a place we will be coming as long as it exists. It’s peaceful, rustic and relaxing. Reg, is a kind and thoughtful host. The ferry dock broke and the ferry was canceled for few days. Reg offered us discounted price to extend our stay if we decided to stay. We chose to go home via tax water but had to leave the car on the island. Reg, offered to drive the car to Vancouver when the ferry started running again. Drove us to the ferry as well. Gone over and beyond. Much appreciated.

We stayed at Spencer and Ashley's place Feb 10-12 for a mini get away to celebrate a birthday. It was the moat beautiful setting, and our stay was very peaceful. It was quiet, clean and conveniently located. We had a view of the water from our room which was a nice treat. We were able to check in very easily with a door code and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a fully stocked coffee /tea bar complete with to go cups and all ( much appreciated!) They also had a welcome basket full of snacks we were able to enjoy. The bed was so comfortable, and it was the best sleep we've both had in ages ! The property has nice amenities, and i love that there are so many things to do on site. We would love to return this summer to enjoy the summer time activites ! Ashley was super responsive and did a lovely job at recommending some local places to eat that were known to her All in all, our stay was 5 star ! Highly recommend

Doesn't get any better than this. Luxury townhouse with everything you could possibly need, plus more. I've stayed in 100's of Airbnb's and this is truly top notch. Wonderful location too. Melissa is doing an incredible job, can't wait to return in the future.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Wonderful cottage just on the edge of Rathtrevor. We had friends camping in the park and we didn’t want to camp with a toddler so this was the perfect solution. Pet friendly, private, quiet. Cottage had everything you’d need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had high chair, pack and play, baby gate. Would stay again!

This is such a lovely place! Very clean and close to so many wonderful things. We loved eating at the Mt. Arrowsmith brew pub and walking along the beach. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again one day.

A beautiful setting that is a great place to relax with a few couples. It is roomy and has great gathering and relaxation spots inside and out. There lots of kitchen implements for cooking, tons of linen, and it’s very clean.
