Vacation rentals with lake access in Newbury

Absolutely beautiful stay! The place was spotless, with an amazing lake view that made for a perfect, peaceful getaway. The beds were all very comfortable, and the amenities provided truly made it feel like being at home. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and paper towels, which was a thoughtful touch. Communication with the host was smooth, and check-in and check-out were super easy. A great spot to decompress and relax. I highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were heading into a private and peaceful retreat. The area is quiet, and just a short walk behind the property leads to a beautiful, large lake — it really felt like a mini getaway. Even the neighbors passing by were friendly, and we felt completely comfortable and at ease during our stay. Everything was perfect, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere.

It was the most beautiful place to be, a bit chilly up there but the place it’s self was great! If you love nature this is the place to be at.

The 18th century farmhouse is tucked away on a dead end street, quiet and serene. Every morning and evening I expected to look out and see a moose coming up through the bog from across the street to no avail. I did see birds, especially woodpeckers on the feeders, chickens and a cow at the front door. Michael and Melissa were welcoming hosts, the house was well equipped from the kitchen necessities to the bounty of bath towels. The restoration of the home has been done with craftsman's hand with a modern feel. It has also been decorated for the farm house look. Someone loves games galore as I've never seen that many and type in one place before, family time? I did say chickens and Melissa left us a dozen of her fresh farm eggs to enjoy. Thanks. Great house with beautiful lake view and comfortable set up. Everything was clean and in good shape. Steve was responsive with communication and provided all the info we needed. I would recommend staying here.

Tom was the best host so far. His beautiful house was perfect for summer or winter. We felt perfectly at home as soon as we arrived. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful house.

Beautiful house to stay

Loved staying here and having the water right outside, so beautiful. My pup loved running laps around the fenced in yard, will definitely want to come back and stay again when it’s not raining!

We can't say enough about how great this apartment was for us and how great Sandy and Tom are both as hosts and as people! Sandy is very accommodating and makes her guests feel so welcome by providing everything they might need (and also things they didn't know they needed but were glad to have!). The unit is well stocked and furnished very comfortably. The location by the lake is beautiful and it's so convenient to be right on the lake and also a short walk into town (and an even shorter drive). Our daughter and granddaughter had a lot of fun on the 2 paddle boards, and we used the canoe as well to explore the lake. There are plenty of chairs to sit by the lake, and it was really nice to sit around the firepit in the evening. We hope we'll have the opportunity to go back to Meredith and stay with Sandy and Tom again.

We were able to get the dock so it was great for easy boat access, great spot will be returning

What a wonderful stay we had at Bill & Lil's! There was excellent communication from beginning to end and everything is exactly as described. There is plenty of space for 2-4 to enjoy a comfortable stay. The entire property is beautiful and well cared for. Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing get-away yet only a short drive to a variety of restaurants, wineries, brewery, grocery stores, shopping and much more. A big THANK YOU to them for being AMAZING hosts! The thoughtful touches from Lil were very much appreciated. We will most definitely be back.

A very comfortable abode. Would recommend. Was concerned about our uke music and voices disturbing residents above us. Especially liked the nearby rail trail for walking and biking.

The place was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway with my son and fiancé. The place was spotless, had everything you could imagine when it comes to visiting. I would definitely stay here or any else of their air bnbs!

We loved it here. Quiet and amazing sunrise view. We ended up extending our stay a week longer. Lindsay was quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfy home with great views out onto Chalk Pond and convenient for exploring around the Sunapee region. Rob was super responsive and was so gracious to allow us to check in a little early because we were traveling with our little one. Would absolutely stay again!

Siding was very communicative throughout the entire process. My family enjoyed the cottage to ring in the New Year together. We had such a peaceful time. The house was just as described. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve hike with great views

Our stay was just wonderful, the beds and furniture was very comfortable. The view is amazing. The kitchen and bathroom are just beautiful. The large fireplace was something else! Pat was a wonderful host, and would love to come back sooner than later! Can’t say enough of our amazing this place is

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway at this place. Denise was a great host who were helpful and always quick to respond. The house is cozy and clean, perfect size for two adults. It is conveniently located while being private. We kayaked on Paugus Bay and hiked Mt Major. Would definitely come back again.

We came up to Joan's lovely cottage for a peaceful, hiking Christmas vaca and it was absolutely perfect. Joan was a wonderful host, very friendly and generous. We wish Joan was our granny too! Granny camp was comfy, cozy, on a beautiful lake, with lots to do in surroundings areas. Would love to come back in the summer! Thank you!

We stayed at the beautiful Lull Brook cottage and felt like we were in a snow globe! It was cozy, peaceful, and somehow even more beautiful than the pictures could even show. We are already talking about going back sometime in the warmer months. Heidi was kind, responsive, and left wonderful recommendations and information for us to make our stay enjoyable and easy. If you are considering staying here, just book it. You won't regret it!
