Peter's place is THE perfect stay for a couple (plus dog) planning a visit to Rockland County. The cottage is extremely clean and incredibly cozy. The surroundings are beautiful, with the property well set back from the road and bordering Harriman State Park. Suffern and its restaurants aren't far and there's easy access to the Palisades Parkway to go anywhere else nearby. I grew up in the county and visit my parents on a regular basis. Any time I can't stay at their home, Peter's place will be my go-to from now on.

This was a cozy and delightful spot for us to land when we needed a place to stay for my niece’s wedding. The house was so clean and we felt so welcome. We accidentally locked ourselves out, and the hosts were gracious about getting us in. This was a five star air bnb experience.

Beautiful fall getaway. I could not ask for better lakefront views. The cottage is just like the pictures and has all the amenities. Robert had great local recommendations and brought us homemade cookies. We are looking forward to returning again in the future.

We had one of our best stays ever at Lorraine and Dean's! A stunning property in a stunning location. We want to come back and experience every season here. There were a number of days we didn't go anywhere bar walking from the property to enjoy the surrounds, the beauty, the peaceful nature of the area, and to give us time to just relax and enjoy the property too! If you come in colder months, the character of the barn and warming it with the sunroom and wood burning stove in and of itself is experience of holiday enough. The place was always toasty, even overnight. We could get up in the morning and put some paper on the embers with another log ontop and it would catch up again quickly! This is a place you will love all year round, and if there in the summer, rather than seeing the snow melt and pond (and pool) on site unfreeze (along with lakes in the area), you'll get to enjoy the stunning woodland in summer with a pool to swim in!

This bungalow was a magical place to spend an autumn weekend visiting family and the beautiful Hudson valley area. We enjoyed morning walks around the pond with our pup and our coffee. Wish we had time to use the fire pit! Hammocks and bed was comfy, shower and kitchen were clean and lovely! Thanks so much a for a great stay! Would certainly recommend!

We spent a beautiful, snowy night here, and were entirely warm and comfortable. The host messaged us with details on everything about how to get in, and how to get around inside the cabin. The flexibility about check-in was really considerate, given that we were trying to get there while the weather was still good. My husband made a fire in the stove as soon as we checked in, and we were able to mirror our IPad to their Samsung TV within seconds, and watched our favorites while having dinner. The bathroom was super clean and tidy, and the ladder to the loft bedroom was very sturdy, with excellent railings so we had no trouble going up and down. The Pinnacle hiking area is less than a mile down the road, and although it was foggy and snowy the day we hiked, it was a great option for a close-by activity, with what usually would be a spectacular view.

This place is a gem. Deep in the woods. The apartment is set up as a place for fun and play with books, viewings, great kitchen and nice bathroom. I would highly recommend.

John was a perfect host! Friendly, responsive and made us feel welcome. I took my 9 year old son and we had a great time fishing off the dock and kayaking. The kitchenette is lacking if you want to cook any meals but it didn’t matter in our case. Absolutely beautiful location!

I genuinely don't have a single complaint, and I was very pleased by the coziness. Everything exceeded my expectations, and made for a perfect winter get away. Heating was definitely not an issue, as there were heaters in every room on pre-set comfortable timers. The kitchen was very well stocked and felt very home-like. The bed also gave me a great night of sleep and felt amazing on my back. Easy 5/5 stars for me, would love to stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Sherwood Barn was the perfect size for our family of 5. Our kids loved the loft area and we had fun playing the different board games provided. This location was a short 8 mins drive to Patterson Bethel, 1 hr to Warwick and 1 hr to Wallkill. We would recommend this to any of our JW friends looking to visit the area. Our FL family already booked their stay here for the fall!! We will for sure be back for our next visit to Patterson.

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

We had an amazing stay at Kristin and Dave’s cottage and cannot wait to return. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and supremely comfortable. Both Kristin and Dave were very responsive, extremely helpful, and provided great instructions and assistance. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The outdoor space was such a nice option, and the porch and pool were so nice to relax in. We wholeheartedly recommend the cottage!

We had an amazing stay! The place was incredibly cozy, and the hosts were not only super responsive but also very kind and welcoming. They provided great recommendations that made our trip even better!! One of the highlights was the thoughtful touch of having coffee beans, a grinder, and a great coffee maker available, along with clear instructions on how to make the greatest coffee, it was delicious. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again! Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!

Loved staying at Gabriella’s place. Conveniently located and easy to find. We were arriving late and Gabriella made sure that the walkway was free of ice and snow (there had been some snowfall earlier). Absolutely spotless!! Will def stay here again.

We needed to be in the area for three days and Jonathan’s place was very comfortable, pet friendly and 10 mins away from where we needed to be. The grounds are beautiful, sadly it’s winter so we weren’t able to take advantage. We were on-the-go and packed light, so having the washer/dryer came very much in handy. Bed was comfortable and restful, which was much needed. Also 10-15 minutes from lovely restaurants and a Main Street . Jonathan was also very friendly and helpful with our needs. Would definitely return if we needed to be back in the area again.

Such a beautiful oasis! We so enjoyed a weekend away. The suite is so cozy and beautifully decorated. Loved using the hot tub even in the winter weather. The best part was sharing a space with our furry friends downstairs! Would recommend 10/10!!!

Very nice accommodations in convenient location. Covered parking and large deck were great and unexpected. Nice quiet spot that is still close to everything.

Upon entry, my architect husband said "Cute Cottage; Susan you did it again." Plenty of room for a couple in their mid-seventies, and a Millennial daughter. The cottage is very well insulated such that I didn't have to run the heat except for fifteen minutes at bedtime in mid-October, yet there is a big south-facing sliding door in each of the rooms where the sun and moon shines through. Beautiful woodland falls away from the cottage and small patio beyond the sliding doors, and moonlight is magic on all the leaves. If we had more time we would have investigated the many books in the shelving. We will find excuses for coming back to the area and will stay here again.
