Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in New Providence

We booked this villa last minute after we had already arrived in the Bahamas. The AirBnB we booked was awful so we actually ended up booking this place (in addition to the place we originally booked unfortunately). We wanted somewhere nice for Christmas. Everything was fantastic and it saved our holiday. The only sad part was that we could not stay longer as it was already booked so we had to return to our other AirBnB for the remaining days. I highly recommend this place. Was clean and had everything you would need. Plus the beach club and restaurant are great. Our girls used the gym and we got coffee at the dock every morning. The staff at the beach bar by the pool were amazing. There was a really lovely woman that looked after us each day. We loved the marina view every morning. The queen room has a small bunk room attached (via the bathroom) so this is good for little kids. Our teen daughters took over the queen room and the bunk room so it worked out perfectly for our stay.

The place was amazing and the environment was peaceful and very clean . Also , the owner Antonio was very helpful and was able to answer every query that I had . He also assisted with my flat tyre . Its a home away from home .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the living space was cozy with plenty of natural light. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect for preparing meals, and the bathroom had all the essentials I needed for a relaxing stay. Location-wise, it was perfect – nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the fact that I could easily walk to several places. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and hassle-free stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Great great location! Precious and her daughter were wonderful! Close to everything .. gorgeous beach 1 minute walk! Watched the sunset there every night! Grocery store 1 block away. Super easy to catch the bus right in front of suite! Island time is real. We had such a great stay. Heads up. Make sure and request the king bed if that’s what you are after! It’s only on special request. I would definitely recommend Precious’ place to anyone visiting the Bahamas. Until next time !

Angela's place in palm cay was perfect for our vacation. There were 9 of us and it was spacious and very comfortable. It was well stocked with all necessities!The pool was right outside our villa and beach was a few minutes away. We chose to pay the $20 pp for 3 of our days to use the palm cay beach amenities and were glad we did. The dock with loungers was awesome but only useable fri sat and Sunday's. But there are plenty of other beach loungers to use, a pool by the beach and beach bar included to use with that fee! You definitely want to rent a car to get around! Communication with Angela was on point. We would definitely recommend her and the villa!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The building itself was secure and newer. The unit was pristine and fully eqipped. Lots of extra towels and linen. The location was peaceful and walkable to all that paradise Island has to offer. We rented a car from the airport and recommend that in case you want to "get off" the island for a decent grocery store or more restaurants. Michelle always responded and was extremely helpful. My only complaint is I had work to do and the internet happened to be interminet while we there. I texted with Michelle and she checked with the cable company and they were doing upgrades to the building/area, it was not isolated to just this unit. I was able to walk over to the coffee shop in the Atlantis and use their internet to complete my work. I would give this a 10 out of 10!

One Cable beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spotless . There was plenty of towels and the kitchen had plenty of condiments and cooking utensils. The pool is absolutely amazing with a beautiful beach view. It was within safe, walking distance to BaHaMar. 5 star host that was extremely responsive. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This condo is a very good option if visiting Nassau and want to avoid the resort crowds. The unit is very spacious and modern. The pool deck is immaculate and the highlight of the property. I've stayed in this building before and it is starting to show some signs of wear and tear from the elements. The unit itself has similiar feel including the furniture. There is a lack of good quality, reasonably priced restaurants in the area so having a kitchen is helpful. Can walk to beach very easily. Enjoyed the stay and would return. Host is very responsive and helpful.

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

For my first international trip it was really easy and had everything they said we would have. communal areas were nice and easily accessible. pretty private like you had the place to ourselves.

Tatjana’s apartment was even better than described. So spacious and well designed, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The pool and beach area were stunning and the fact that you could do water sports right from the beach was a big plus. Lovely location. The beach towels, cool box and snorkelling gear was so handy to take out and explore the beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend hiring a car so you can get anywhere you’d like. Tatjana is a wonderful host - super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for our stay.

This was my second stay at Elvira's place and it was impeccable. Elvira goes way above and beyond the other hosts at this property. I know because I've stayed at several other AirBNBs at Palm Cay. First, there is the personal touch. She or a member of her family greets you in person to let you in. This is a welcome change from other hosts who have electronic key locks for which they don't give you full instructions and so you spend a good 30 minutes of your stay just trying to get into the place. Next, Elvira's place is beautifully decorated with local art on the walls. There is even a gift basket with local treats and a 5-gallon water dispenser, which trust me is way more valuable than it sounds. Without it, you are trekking to the nearby grocery store to buy gallon bottles of water for drinking and cooking. My husband, who was not with me on my 1st visit said the second he entered, "Wow, this feels like home!" It does! Immaculately clean and so comfortably appointed.

We want to thank you for an awesome experience. Your home was better than the pics! Absolutely beautiful and immaculate, the cleanest Airbnb we have rented. Our trip was so personalized and the little touches you added, dropping gifts off while we were out for the day. If we needed anything you were on it within 10 minutes, we can’t thank you enough for making our first trip to the Bahamas wonderful. If we could give you higher than a 5 star rating we would!!!

Chantale's home is beautiful and in a great location. We felt secure, pool access was a plus for the kids, and the beach is a minute walk. Location is close to restaurant, grocery store, and marina. Chantale is a great host and was easily accessible by phone and Airbnb message. We will definitely visit again soon. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

Everything is according to the description, very close to the marina. If you are going to sail to Exumas, the location is excellent

TL/DR:Awesome place. Not convenient to anything but that is exactly the point. Highly recommend Chef Everton Smith - book well in advance Pro: chill, quiet, clean, safe, relaxing, private, no nightclubs/late night bars, no yelling or screaming, beach front, good kitchen, purified water tap, good water pressure, ample hot water, good internet speed, satellite tv, host arranged transportation to and from airport Cons: all bedrooms on upper floors, no black out curtains in any bedroom, bed rooms are stuffy with A/C so must open doors to hallways, bathrooms stay damp, no bug screens - can’t keep outside doors open w/o having flies, narrow stairs with only partial rails, nearby restaurant just above average, everything in the Bahamas is pricy, limited activities, expensive clubhouse/pool pass must be purchased for a 3 day minimum and for all occupants (even those that can not utilize the pool), 45-60 min from the airport and 30 min to town by taxi.

We were staying at this apartment before getting ready to sail for a week, it was the perfect place to stay to relax before our trip on the water. It would also be great for a longer stay as you have all the amenities to use right there at Palm Cay Resort (pool, bar, restaurant, beach, etc.) Additionally, Sandrina was an extremely proactive and responsive host for any and all needs we had during our stay. She strived to make our stay perfect and was both flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Sandy’s Caribbean Cottage was a perfect and affordable destination for a tropical getaway. Our group of 5 stayed for five days and we all mutually agreed that this was one of the best air bnbs we have stayed at. The location was convenient and secluded enough from the louder areas to give plenty of peace and quiet. The beach right across the street was perfect for morning walks and watching beautiful sunsets. Our group got the perfect affordable rental car, per the company recommendation that Sandy gave us, and we were able to travel around the island to explore different beaches. Everything we needed was in 20-30min driving distance with the farthest we traveled being 35min to paradise island. The accommodations to our requests were responded to and handled in a timely manner, and the caretakers of the property were very nice and helpful. Checkout times were accompanied and we never felt rushed out of the place at all. Overall, the Caribbean Cottage 10/10. Will be visiting again soon!
