Within a 15-minute walk from the Rhine, the local recreation area "Blaue Adria" is about 2 km away and is ideal to reach by bicycle. Directly along the Rhine are beautiful bike paths towards Speyer or Ludwigshafen and a ferry goes every 15 minutes to Mannheim (Mon-Sun 5.30 am - 10 pm). In about 300 m distance there is a supermarket, bakery with cafe and an ice cream cafe.
