At the Dwingelderveld National Park, there is the cottage, which is equipped with all comforts; private parking, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and if you open the sliding door you are in the woods and you can sit in the garden and watch the squirrels and birds. Within a few minutes walking distance you are at the sheepfold. You can really escape the hustle and bustle of nature for a while

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb hostel we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit from Kitty and Erik in every room, every object, that we liked very much. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for something special - just like us! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make a hearty first breakfast and more. The staircase up is very steep, but well secured, and even our 70-year-old joints quickly got the hang of it. We enjoyed these days very much and it was like coming home every time. A beautiful place for a family break when visiting Bays. Well located cottage to go to the Wadden Islands (Ameland) and a very good restaurant on the coast nearby (zwarte Haan)!

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

The country house is located just outside, which makes it all the more cozy. The amenities are good. The only real "disadvantage" I found was the pigeons of the immediate neighboring property. If the noises don't bother you, it's really perfect.

This was my first time booking through Airbnb – and it really exceeded my expectations! Vonny is an incredibly friendly and helpful host who is always available for questions or support. The apartment is more spacious than in the photos and very stylish and tastefully furnished – cozy and with a lot of love for detail. The bed is super comfortable, I slept great. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with spices for cooking – perfect for those who like to cook themselves. The residential complex is quietly located and offers a beautiful environment – ideal for relaxing. I was completely satisfied with the stay and would love to come back. I highly recommend the place at Vonny's!

Excellent location! Excellent Host! If you haven’t planned on what to do when in Netherlands just follow the recommendations provided by Michelle. They are much better than what we see on social media. Kids loved the place, lots of activities - play area, garden, games - to keep them busy.

We had a lovely stay in the mobile home. It was super clean and the rest was exactly as described. Stefan is a friendly host and always willing to help.

Very nice and quiet apartment. Well built, easily usable for 6 people. Communication was very friendly and always fast. Parking space available. 7 km Away from the ferry terminal, but very accessible by bicycle. Supermarket about 100 m away.

This location offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. The hospitality is outstanding (10/10), and the premises are impeccably clean. We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

We had a lovely stay, the beds are very comfortable and the house is well arranged, the garden is a real plus.

What a nice, fully equipped bungalow in a beautiful setting! The cottage really has everything you could need and was (and smoke) super clean. I was with my sister and we both had our own bedroom with a doubter. Everything was available in the kitchen, you can even bake a cake if you feel like it! The bathroom has a spacious shower with good water pressure. Mark responds quickly if you have any questions and is super friendly, and gives fun tips for the neighborhood on his own. The area is beautiful for hiking, especially nice with dogs. I would love to come back!

we enjoyed our stay and the holiday home is tip top in order and provided with everything you need and in addition everything is sparkling clean and beautifully located on a lake. Hella is a very friendly hostess and helpful, in the area beautiful forests for hiking and plenty of fantastic cycling routes. In short, good to stay there. Mieke and Wim.

It was a very nice cottage and so perfectly located. The owner acted very kindly when there were misunderstandings with payments. And also during the stay she was very available and helpful. Highly recommended. Nice bed, nice fenced garden for the dog, cozily furnished.

the apartment was super habitable and equipped for 9 people (also for cooking!). Those who want peace and a lot of scenery will definitely get their money's worth. Benjamin welcomed us warmly and was super nice and straightforward. We will be happy to come back :)
