Perfect stay. The villa is beautiful, very clean and nice. Located 15 minutes by car from Rethymnon. Perfect for exploring the western part of Crete. Beautiful view. Very easy house to stay in. Excellent pool and Jacuzzi (2 seats). Cleaning done halfway through the stay. One of our best stays.

We spent the best time in this cute villa! It is a beautiful and clean house just next to the wonderful beach of Kalives. Antonis was a very kind and caring host. The landscape around is stunning. Thank you for everything! We‘ve loved it and we‘ll definitely come back!

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a small town with no facilities (apart from a very informal cafe next door), but the quiet area was exactly what we were looking for. Yes there are some dogs etc, but not excessive, the noise is just local life in the town, which was actually really lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative, we had a few minor issues, but they were sorted in a matter of minutes! Loads of tavernas, beaches, supermarkets within a very short drive, spoilt for choice for loads of amazing food. Highly recommend a stay here, the villa, area, food and people were all fantastic.

Our family had an amazing time here! It was a great central location for excursions, and had several restaurants within walking distance as well as some flat roads for jogging. The house was perfect for our needs with a great layout. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the clean modern furnishings. Minoas’s communication was excellent! A wonderful host who provided kitchen basics for the start of our stay and a lovely gift at the end. We would love to stay here if we return to Crete.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Fabulous house and location. Clean and stylish with very comfortable beds. Very handy for the beach and town and very close to the supermarket. An exceptionally beautiful part of Crete.

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!

This is a perfect place to stay in Apokoronas. Michael is kind and responsive host. Fokion’s place is spotless. There is also a lot of care put into details. The garden is lovely and the view spectacular. It’s apparent that a lot of love went into putting it all together. We thank you for an excellent stay.

Our family stay was even more enjoyable than expected. We quickly felt right at home. The house (Polymnia) is exactly as described and illustrated by the photos. The view and environment are amazing, while the pool delighted the children. The house is perfectly maintained and clean. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning in the rooms is very efficient. The overall equipment is complete. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking, with basic condiments as well. Chrysi is an extremely available host, pleasant to contact. Very responsive, she always responded to our requests, no matter how small. She loves her region and does not hesitate to share her knowledge through valuable advice. We would recommend this simply magical place without thinking twice.

This is a great place to stay in if you are looking for a lovely villa and pool in a very quiet and private location. The main sound is the goat bells ringing across the hills, yes really! Although it’s in the countryside there is easy access to the coast and the nearest village Vamos. Recommend trying the restaurants in Vamos. The hosts Judy and Mike are fantastic and are there to help if needed but otherwise give you space to enjoy this lovely place. Thanks very much Judy and Mike!!

Alexandra’s place finished off our holiday perfectly. It was better than the photos, with everything you needed. Cristina was great, very friendly and helpful, happy to welcome her to Australia if she comes for a holiday. There are quite a few restaurants around and it is only a short drive into Chania Old town (depending on traffic). The location was great as you could book tours or hire a boat. From this location we went to Balos, winery, olive oil tour and got to know the area. Would definitely stay again or recommend friends to stay. Thanks for making Crete so memorable.

We had a fantastic time in Chania, the location is very convenient. During March we had the possibility to use the rooftop to enjoy the weather and the view. Everything we needed we had in the apartment. Nice restaurants were in walking distance. We also liked the conversation with the owner and his brother. Everything was easy and nice, we also used the street market every Saturday just 5 minutes away to buy fresh vegetables and fruits directly from the farmers. We already are making plans to come back and spend more time in Chania. Thank you Nektarios for your help and your kindness.

We felt very comfortable in the stone, small summer house. We loved the courtyard covered by an old vine. In the evening you could illuminate it comfortably and beautifully. We were pleased that there were all the necessary spices in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome you. The location in a quiet side street but still only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the old village center of Colombia is ideal. The handover and communication with Dimitrios was very nice and straightforward. We are happy to recommend the place! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. We were pleased that all the necessary spices were available in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome us. Really nice room in front of the sea.

We had three very nice weeks in Sophia's house. Sophia and Nikos were very helpful. They had made the house proper until we arrived, even breakfast in the fridge and delicious olive oil and wine. We were missing a few small things, they sorted this out for us right away. They stopped by occasionally to clean the pool and check that everything was okay. We traveled with three small children, so the pool was diligent in use and very much enjoyed by the children. Is also walking distance to the beach. In the garden there was a play cabin that the youngest really appreciated, otherwise all of the baby equipment and toys, and games for the bigger kids. We were here out of season, so unfortunately there was nothing open. It was made it a bit boring and we also became dependent on a car or bus. In high season there are open restaurants and shops nearby. Really recommend staying here. Thank you so much for the great weeks!

We stayed at Thomas's house for a relaxing, car-free beach holiday at the end of September. The house was very comfortable, with a lovely garden overlooking the sea that was perfect for outdoor meals. Bakery, supermarkets, a few neighbourhood restaurants and sandy beaches all within walking distance -the nearest beach is about 10 minutes' walk with two more slightly further. Chania is a short bus ride away. Thomas was a charming and helpful host, who made us feel very welcome.

We loved our stay so much :) It was super peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor area a lot. It is super convenient to have groceries and restaurants nearby. Minas was lovely (as well as all the people we met in Kissamos) 😁 A friends trip that we will never forget!

A beautiful, functional, new and clean house in a colourful and a peaceful village. The village located on a mountain and the weather there is amazing. In a 15 minutes drive you will reach beautiful beach - so you win tow different geography in one stay. The communication with the owner was excellent - fast responded for every question and need we had and helped use get along. Warmly Recommend!

As a young family our stay at Gianna’s was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space in the garden for the kids to play and a playground to use, A grill in the yard, sun beds and a hammock to rest and read a book. A 10-15 minute walk to the main beach and restaurants. A great location to start the incredible hike to the gorge with Monastery.

The house is in a great location in a quiet village. It is an ideal place to get quiet from the city's noise. A stone house from an earlier era that has, of course, been renovated but at the same time has kept the character of an old village house. Mr. Frantzeskakis was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for all! Until we meet again!
