Vacation rentals in Balos Beach

We really enjoyed our 8 nights at Sunset - the apartments are very well appointed & stylish design - & kept spotlessly clean . It was great to have a swimming pool - which was in full sun from late morning to early evening. The sunsets were stunning & it was special to be able to hear the sound of the sea. One thing to flag up is you definitely need a car to reach the main beaches & restaurants - though there is one very good local taverna that is walkable . Manager Kariofilli - gave us some excellent recommendations about places to visit & to eat too.

She has been a real host, helpful, welcoming and loving since my arrival. Hospitable and with lots of travel tips as well as great tavernas in the area and not. The terrace overlooking the sea for exclusive use, definitely the added value of this house! The property allows you to reach in a few minutes on foot, super market, shops, downtown Kissamos, and the waterfront. Also, I have always had the parking space under the house, being a closed street. Definitely recommended!

The apartment is really amazing! Tidy and clean. A gorgeous view to wake up to! Alexandros and Konstantina deserve the best feedback! They were easy to communicate with and gave us careful and good instructions for directions and other useful information prior to arrival. We arrived at the apartment late, but were still physically met. Welcome gift was ready in the apartment when we arrived - eggs from our own hens, raki, wine, homemade olive oil and breakfast. We got the impression that Alexandros and Konstantina go a long way for their guests to enjoy their stay☺️ Unfortunately, we interrupted our stay early, as Livadia was somewhat more rural than what we were looking for. However, this was our own fault, for not doing thorough enough research before booking, and had absolutely nothing to do with the hosts or the place! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday and do not need city life in the immediate vicinity, we highly recommend both the apartment and the host 🥰

We had a wonderful week at the Stone House at the end of September. The stay was just amazing, Giannis the perfect host! Even before the trip and when he arrived, he gave us helpful tips. The space and surroundings are even nicer than in the photos. The location is great, very quiet and pure nature, here you can relax perfectly. In the area there are wonderful beaches, partly deserted. Excellent tavernas are reachable 15-30 minutes by car. Giannis recommended some of us. During our stay, Giannis gave us more helpful information, he was always very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will certainly not have been there for the last time!

Giorgos and Angeliki are wonderful and kind hosts who really made us feel at home in their beautiful house and garden where we spent a week but wished we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the surrounding animal life 😊 and peaceful area, the magnificent beaches and were especially thankful for the recommendation of the genuine taverna in Kampos with amazing local food. Many thanks, we hope to be back again soon and will recommend Villa Taos to all our friends and relatives! 😊

Lovely old cottage a few kilometres outside Kissamos. In a small village with several good tavernas in walking distance. Electra is a great host with easy communication and a desire to make sure her guests are happy.

The location is perfect to visit Elafonissi beach. We drove there in the late afternoon and stayed until the sunset. As a result, few tourists were there. After that, we ate in the Terverne at our place. Simply perfect. The cottage is on a farm. There are many animals (even peacocks) and the tap and bells of the goats woke us every morning. We found this very nice. Our son enjoyed it very much.
