Lovely apartment, short walk from the city centre. Loads of places to eat, definitely not short on choice. Parking a bonus, central for getting out and about.

Brilliant. The photos don’t do it justice, great little place. Had absolutely everything I needed. Area was really quiet and the shops on your doorstep are really handy. Very good stay and would definitely recommend!

From booking to check in all communications were fast clear and friendly. The place was immaculatebwith all amenities you need and more. Some lovely touches with the games machine, board games, dab radio and more. Beds were very comfy wirh lovely linen. Location was great. 10 min walk from the opera house. Yes its uphill coming home but nothing too strenuous. Lots of shops around the apartment if you need anything. Parking on the side street was no problem. We loved our stay and will certainky be back as we use the opera house often. Highly recomended hosts 🌟🌟🌟

This is a great find. It’s close to the university and wonderful dining options. It’s also nearby the Peak District, easily accessible by bus. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

Very enjoyable stay. Great location for discovering all of Buxton on foot with many pubs, bars and restaurants only a short walk away. Clear comms beforehand and the apartment was exactly as described - very clean and comfortable.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. Great place and the owner/s were very helpful with information and responsive with messages. Really enjoyed our stay here. Location and building wasn’t what we expected but still felt nice and private once inside. Room looks exactly like the pics. The hosts were really attentive and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had. Definitely recommend here for someone to stay the night.

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.

Cute little place, really well equipped and clean. Being able to go see the animals was an added bonus. Victor was very responsive and attentive and would love to visit again. Thank you
