Our time at Irja's cabin was wonderful. We had a panoramic view on the lake. We adored exploring the area with the canoe. Irja and Sten made us feel right at home and were most welcoming. They even drove us to the train station on the day of our departures. We definitely would recommend visiting!

Every day we enjoyed the uniquely beautiful view of the wintry lake and the long sunrises and sunsets. On most days, we were able to slide across the smooth ice, skate and go sledging. Then it snowed and we were able to walk into the untouched snowy landscape. There were lots of animal tracks to see (deer, stags, foxes, a moose and even the tracks of a lynx in the forest). The sauna with a view of the lake was also great. The communication with Mattias was excellent, fast, very helpful, with lots of concrete tips and suggestions. A thousand thanks. We can only recommend the house for Sweden fans.

No photo can do this place justice. Absolutely stunning surroundings and hands down the most beautiful Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The kindness of the hosts and their animals were just another highlight.

We had a fantastic stay in Peggy's guesthouse. It is very remote and it takes quite a drive to get anywhere but that was exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean, very lovely, very Swedish. It had everything we needed for our little remote getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Vania and Staffan are great hosts, super friendly and communicative. The cottage is nice and cozy, and right after we got in, we saw lovely treats for our pets, that made our day. So sweet from them to have this gesture. We stayed with our dog, and they allowed us to bring our cats although we didn't this time. There are many places around to walk with the dog. The backyard is fenced, so it's safe to play with the dog unleashed. Our hosts went the extra mile pouring more sand in the front door to make sure it wasn't slippery for us to walk by. And everything in the cottage has written instructions both in Swedish and English, so we felt welcome all the time. Well equipped kitchen. We'd love to come back when Hoforsbacken is open or even in the next seasons for Golf, Paddle and more hiking. The lake view is stunning! Highly recommended.

A charming and spacious cottage under the pine trees in a peaceful environment with a lake view, where we are happy to return. Extra plus for really comfortable beds!

The house is located in the Uppsala / Stockholm area (40 min by train) yet completely rural. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and from the hot tub you can look into the Swedish countryside.

A fantastically perfect cottage as it can't get any better.😀🌞⭐️ The location is great and we had a wonderful perfect week there. Nothing was missing in this house and we felt so comfortable. Andreas gave us a warm welcome and showed us everything. We were also allowed to use his rowing boat. In the area beautiful nature with canyon and nature reserve as well as forests for hiking. In the small town, you could Shop everything in 3 large supermarkets and other shops. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace every day. Gas grill and table as well as lounge furniture are all great. We had a week from the weather as it couldn't be better. Swim in the 21 degree warm lake every day and yet we used the sauna in the house twice. The house is great for family with children. There would have been 4 more guests in the guesthouse. If it bothers, is the small road between the garden and the lake,where a car passes every 10 minutes 😅 Perfect 👌🏼

Per and Carina are extremely helpful and kind hosts. The place is absolutely amazing, it’s clear they have put all their hearts to furnish the place and make us feel at home 😍 the kitchen is super well equipped, including all the baking accessories, pans, coffee machine, oven etc which for us was important. Lovely view and cozy glass-patio to spend long summer evenings in ❤️ the place also feels very private. I can’t recommend it enough!

This place is magical in the middle of winter! The accommodation is very large and very warm. The snowy surroundings are beautiful, a pure slice of paradise for a quiet break! Nothing to say it was perfect 👍🏻

This swedish red-white small cozy house with marvellous surroundings (seaview, forest, lakes) is strongly recommended, worth every penny. However we got something priceless too: Anna's personality. She was extremely helpful, open minded, having excellent sense of humour. Often shared her free time with us. So during our stay we felt as if we had just met a friend not seen for ages.

It was a pleasure to stay at Mattias place with my family. Kids enjoyed fishing and boat ride. We loved the sauna and how peaceful with a great view is the place. Mattias is a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.
