Vacation rentals with lake access in Nags Head

We could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. The house was well stocked and clean. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained as well. The neighborhood is quiet and within a short distance to many local attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Thank you!!

Elissa was a wonderful host! We had a few issues with the temperature of the pool, but Elissa responded promptly and those issues were resolved in a timely manner. The house was fabulous and everyone in our party had a great time. The private dock on the sound side was such a huge bonus...we set our crab trap (although it was probably too early in the season), launched our own personal kayak, and enjoyed the remarkable sunsets every day of our trip. The beach on the ocean side was a reasonable walk away. We can't wait to return to this place again!

Beautiful home above a garage surrounded by amazing oak trees. Very quiet. Not directly on the water but easily accessible with access on the dock, kayaks, and paddle board. Kids and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Close to beach and good restaurants.

Michelle’s cottage was clean and convenient. It was right on the sound with beautiful views and a private dock. The neighborhood was very quiet. Michelle was helpful and responsive and we look forward to staying there again in the future!

Shelia, We loved your house! Our family enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the yard. Your decor is so spa like. It allows your beautiful views to be the focus. Your deck and the views are so relaxing. We did not want to leave!

We had a great stay, and highly recommend this space! Vjollca was exceptionally responsive and helpful. It was a great perk to be able to park under cover and walk right into the unit. It’s a cozy little space perfect for two!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Thomas’s place was perfect! Very relaxing, quiet, and serene. I enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The apartment had everything that I needed to feel at home. I do wish there was a TV in the bedroom, but other than that it definitely earned a 5-star review!

We totally understand and agree with Tanya being listed as a Super Host with 5+Stars! From making the reservation until checkout, Tanya made certain that we had absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay, from extra toiletries, beach towels, sunscreen and even a sewing kit! She is responsive to messages, provides tips and suggestions on trips, places to visit and local restaurants! The house is pristine yet feels like home! We will definitely be making many more trips and this will be our “ home away from home!”

My wife and I stayed with our two kids and my parents (and their dog) and had a great time! The house is cozy but comfortable for 6, with a good amount of living space including a very nice sunroom. Amy was friendly and helpful in our communications and proactive at checking how things were going, and helped ensure we had a nice stay the whole time. Staying on the sound was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The house is right on a great multiuse path which is perfect for walking or biking to the nearby coffee shop or for exercise. Grocery stores and restaurants are close too, as are destinations like Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Brothers memorial. Two little things that made me happy were walking past the Muscadine vine in the front yard, and the color of the mailbox: a light blue which made it unique and easy to find when driving down an unfamiliar street. If your group is the right size for it, Safe and Sound is a great place to stay, and Amy is an excellent host!

This home has the most amazing view! Watching the sunrise over the sound every morning was breathtaking. It is about a half hour from the entrance to the Outer Banks, but we were more than happy to trade the drive for the absolute peace and tranquility of this home's serene location. The kitchen is well appointed so we enjoyed starting and ending each day with our own homemade breakfast and dinner.

We have been going to the Duck area for 15ish years. This was our first time on the sound. We enjoyed the privacy of the area and the sound/sunset views. The beach for the access pass is nice. They list some good restaurant options but if you like to fix your own meals, fresh fish can be had at Dockside n Duck. It’s a regular morning visit for us. Enjoy the place!

This cottage was perfect for our family's spring break trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach! The cottage itself was wonderful--clean, decorated wonderfully, and surprisingly spacious!

We enjoyed our stay and found the home well equipped. The turtles are fun to watch. This is a very unique home and a short walk to the beach. We would stay there again!
