Shu Vieuno Hida Takayama Clean thoroughly!

TiffanyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A very clean, tidy, well organised and comfortable accommodation. Walking distance to McDonalds, shops, supermarkets and the Takayama train station. The host was super helpful and responsive. There’s a washing machine and dryer as well, which is a bonus! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Takayama.

It's a very beautiful place to stay. We had a pleasant time. There was a strong cold wave. I was worried about the cold. I had no problem at all.

Hakuba Lodge OMUSUBI / ski in ski out location

AnnetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

7.Days.a.WK. private lodging "B"

BryanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A beautiful Airbnb located in the heart of Echoland, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The unit itself is very cosy and warm, and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the automatic bath tub which was great after a long day of snowboarding. As an added bonus, the food downstairs at Hakuba Shokudou and Berbies was excellent, so we had a few late night snacks there. All in all, we would love to be back again next snow season in Hakuba!

Lampas karuizawa-The best choice for family trip!

JohnnyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
1. This is the most well-equipped homestay I've stayed here, my family and I had a big meal here and it was very satisfying 2. Check-in gifts and customized small cards are heartwarming 3. The record player is such a compliment, the first experience of a record in life is here 4. There is already a different language account set up in Netflix for the TV, you can choose your own language to watch directly, very thoughtful design 5. The bathtub is very large and comfortable, and lotion can be used after the brew. 6. The host proactively asked if it needed to be picked up and dropped off, we carried a lot of luggage, and the homestay and Karuizawa station back and forth, the service was very attentive 7. The wifi here is a fast exaggeration, over 200 Mbps 8. The bed is too comfortable, and the living room has fragrance, which is great Overall everything was very nice, and this is definitely the place to stay in Karuizawa!

HONEYBEE HOUSE TAKAYAMA

KatyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wish we could have stayed longer here. The home was very neat & clean and had everything we needed. Tea & coffee provided was a welcomed touch after a long trip. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. They had extra little luxuries eg. Mouth wash, toothbrushes, combs, hair scrunchies, a few games and crockery if you have small children. Honeybee had the best western style futon beds so far, thicker, softer with warm, light, fluffy quilts. The shower temperature was adjustable if you like it hotter. There was a washer and dryer! The location is perfect, everything was walkable. Train station 15 min. Hotto motto takeaway 2 min. Convenience store 5 min. Old town 15 min along with all the restaurants, cafes and gift shops. The only thing to be aware of is typical steep stairs but they had the bonus of sensor lights for those late night bathroom trips. We highly recommend this beautiful home. A huge Thankyou for our thoughtful hosts.

friendly, responsible and quick to response. worth staying. help us to call the restaurant to check whether reservation was needed. and gave us fruits (strawberries) and check on our safety. Flexible as she allowed us to stay on the ground floor because of my old age mom in law. I will nominate Kayo as best host of the year!

It was very clean and we had a pleasant time!I'm grateful that you provided water in the fridge.I was satisfied with the attention to detail. For those with a lot of luggage, it is necessary to devise a way to keep the door open while putting in the luggage. The front door closes automatically when you press the button! Please be careful as it makes quite a noise.

Alps Retreat Chalet

EleanorRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The chalet was great - very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We arrived in the early hours of the morning - the self check in was easy, and the chalet was warm and welcoming. Being surrounded by trees was so peaceful too. Morino’s staff, Jeff and Eri, were very responsive and helpful with lifts to town and organising a luggage transfer at the end of our stay. We were there for spring skiing and had plenty of snow at Hakuba 47 and Goryu, and a day at Happo One too. We hired a car locally, as the ski shuttle service had finished, but given the location, I would hire a car anyway, as it was super convenient to drive into Hakuba, to the supermarket, and to and from the ski fields. We looked at the path to walk down into town, but decided we wouldn’t be keen to walk it with ski gear (or to walk it back up, even without!) There was enough snow for the kids to build a snowman near the chalet, but we’d love to stay again in winter, with the trees covered in snow too.

Hakuba resort cottage Villa Monochorome

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
