Cottage vacation rentals in Nagano

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

It was very clean and spacious, and I had a relaxing stay with my family.I was very satisfied that I was able to sweat well in the sauna.It was a reasonable price, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

Alex and Rie are kind and considerate hosts and Thunderbird Cottage is a great base for skiing around Hakuba with a family / group. The car with ski rack is a big advantage for getting around to ski resorts and restaurants / shops. The cottage and car together are good value if you are looking for a peaceful environment that’s close to everything you need. Alex and Rie provided very helpful info that assisted our plans in and around Hakuba.

Was refreshing to have a night in a quiet mountain cabin away from the city spots we had been staying in. Would have liked to stick around another day and gotten in some good hiking. Kim was very accommodating as a host - far and away the most I’ve ever had at an AirBnb.

See you again soon The two days I spent at the Sugadaira Kogen Highlands were very memorable. Full of hospitality and the owner's feelings, The large yard and tidy, accessible classic house, It's just like home. Equipped with modern audio environment items and outdoor supplies, The classic style is harmonized. It was a space reminiscent of a log house in the United States/Montana.

Excellent place for a hideout from the city noise! Comfy place with spacious rooms! Very satisfying!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

It was all very fun as an experience.I got to the accommodation by car in the snow, and I experienced both, but it was a great memory. There were also changes, but the owner was kind and flexible in making arrangements, and I was very grateful. The worldview of the inn itself is also lovely.Thank you

This place was so cute & homie! Perfect location for our 1 night stay in Kusatsu. The cottage came with everything you need from shampoo to condiments. The host was responsive and very accommodating! 10/10

I stayed with 3 other people, but it was spacious enough and the flat interior made it a pleasant stay!It was nice to have plenty of amenities. You'll arrive in an area with a cafe with a nice view in about 5 minutes by car.

The accommodation was a private space where we could relax because there were no buildings around.It was nice that the inside was kept clean. Also, I asked a lot of questions in advance, but it was very helpful that they handled it politely every time.

It was very good.It is a facility with a remote check-in location, so it takes time to travel from there.However, the view of the Kofu Basin from the facility was fantastic.

We loved it. The house is huge, well equipped and everything was clean. You do need a car but it’s easy to get around. Ryo communicated extremely well (in English) and gave great recommandations. We would go back again.

Hütte Boden is a cozy cottage nestled in the mountains near Mt Asama. The views of the mountains across were incredible from the porch on a clear sunny day. It has a good access to Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen (if one has a car). The host was very kind and friendly. She had neatly organized all the recommendations into files. The place was very cozy and we had an amazing time. She was also very considerate, with us forgetting the check out time. Definitely recommend this place for a mini vacation near Karuizawa.

Homely feeling cute cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but a 8min walk right into the heart of it! Close to cafes/restaurant’s/bus stops/bars and food trucks. Everything is provided, and Takeshi responds to all our questions in a professional manner. Would stay again!

It was a very quiet and beautiful place in a villa in the forest at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. The room was very beautiful, fully equipped with cooking utensils, and we had a comfortable stay. I would love to use it again if I have the chance!

Among the accommodations I have used, the most host was polite and I had a very pleasant communication. The view around the inn was very beautiful, and the accommodation was very tidy and relaxing. Highly recommended for thoughtful accommodations with local sweets and tea at check-in.
