The Hideaway is a comfortable home away from home! Beautiful setting with lovely in a small town away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and major tourist areas. The kitchen is well equipped, the king bed very comfortable and Serena is ready to assist with any questions on your stay. Read the host guide book on her listing for lots of useful local information. Lots of lovely walking and biking on the doorstep. Explore Caldas da Rainha’s outdoor market, restaurants, park and restaurants.

Maria was so friendly and allowed us an early check-in because there was no one staying in the apartment before us. We loved the apartment’s proximity to the beach and funicular. Nazare is a wonderful town and we would absolutely stay at Maria’s place again!

We had a lovely few days in Joana and Tiago’s place. It’s the perfect re-set from frantic life. The house is as described, simple and cosy but when you’re right on the beach that’s all you need, even in drizzly Feb/March. Evenings spent playing cards in front of the fire. The tennis court was an added bonus which we all enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your holiday spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Patrick’s house. The views of the lagoon were beautiful, especially at sunset. We walked down to the ocean-about 2.5 miles one way. Mostly flat. We also did some ocean hikes and spent one day at Sintra. You do need a car to get to the grocery store and other amenities (about 10 minutes away by car). The neighborhood was quiet. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure was excellent! We didn’t swim in the pool since it was January but it looked inviting. Patrick was very quick to respond to any queries and gave lots of good tips as to what to see and do. Would definitely return. A beautiful part of Portugal.

It was Andrea who managed our welcome and the stay; perfect in her role and responsive when needed. we unreservedly recommend this independent, well-designed accommodation with an extensive living room/games upstairs! Ericeira, Péniche, Obidos and beautiful beaches nearby. Lisbon and Nazaré 1 hour away... 1 good restaurant? The west 23 without hesitating!

We stayed for 1 week. The apartment is as described, very clean and the view is fantastic. The location is quiet and easy to reach by car. There was also always parking is available right in front of the house. Communication with the host was always friendly and accommodating. We are happy to recommend this place and loved Nazare.

just as expected, location is great and access directly to the beach. restaurants and food store minutes walking. overall nice place. the only issue was it's on the main road so the front has traffic noise but only in the day as night is quiet with few cars. the building carries noise a bit, we had neighbors that were noisy in the day with kids, so that of course is just a matter of who's staying there. would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in Peniche! The location was perfect—close enough to local attractions and amenities, yet peaceful and quiet for relaxing evenings. The house itself was beautifully maintained, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had all the information we needed and quickly answering any questions we had. The house corresponds exactly to the pictures. The pool was really heated, which is always a positive surprise (often the ad promises heated pool but then does not materialize). The house was very well prepared to accommodate eight guests, at the level of living areas, crockery and towels. But it would be helpful to have a bathroom with extra shower. Communication with the host was very easy. We could have a late check out at an affordable price. The São Martinho do Porto area is beautiful, and very close to the house we had fantastic views of the bay.
