A real positive were the Northern Lights at night - spectacular!

This place wonderful. the host were very accommodating and welcoming. everything you needed was there. If your looking to unplug and spend some quality family time this was the perfect location. the pictures of the location do not do it justice. Will definitely plan to comeback to create more memories with my wife and boys.

Stanley was very friendly and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It is minutes from the beach and close to town for anything we needed. It was quite and relaxing. We especially enjoyed evenings by the fire. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Beautifully kitchen and sleeping quarters. I would highly recommend this little get away rental. Shannon

Austin and Jackie’s place is amazing! It’s so peaceful and spacious. The yard is amazing (especially if you have a dog). The living space is cozy and has everything that you need. The hosts are both incredible people. This is such a great BNB! Thanks for having me 😊

This home and the grounds are spectacular. The home is expansive, clean, and very well appointed, with an inviting kitchen, TV viewing room, and plenty of bedrooms / bathrooms for family / friend gatherings. The yard is massive, with a beautiful view of Cold Lake, allowing for a variety of activities in the daytime, and a fire pit for evening gatherings. The dock area is charming, and there is enjoyable canoeing in the southern part of the lake. The home is minutes from a provincial park, with good trails and a beautiful beach area. The Cold Lake museums in town are also interesting to explore for aircraft enthusiasts. Joe and Jazelle, as others have said, are excellent hosts, among the most responsive I’ve had. They were generous with their time / information, and communication was excellent - when we experienced a problem with WiFi and one with plumbing, they were quick to respond and find solutions. We look forward to a return visit, hopefully soon!

If we could rate this place a 6/5, we would. We LOVED staying at this place and would highly recommend staying there. Roxanne was so friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s obvious her priority is for people to go out to her place and feel peace. To really enjoy the beauty of it as much as she does. The gardens are beautiful and there is a private dock out to a very peaceful lake. There were very few boats on the lake so it was very quiet. There is no light pollution so we were treated to a star show every night. The home itself was very cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. I forgot my toiletry bag, but Roxanne is prepared with a little supply list of items guests might forget or need for a very reasonable fee. We went as a mom’s getaway weekend and got memories for a lifetime, not to mention a ton of gardening know- how from Roxanne. We will definitely be returning as soon as we need a break from life again:)
