This apartment is well equipped and stylishly furnished. Wolfgang and Andrea were available to us the entire time. We felt very comfortable in the apartment.

Even before arrival, we had a very nice and uncomplicated contact with the hostess. Everything was a perfect fit on site – from the property to the surrounding area. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Daniela’s apartment felt like a home away from home! Beautiful & peaceful surroundings, absolute beauty and lovely views of Ammersee lake! Comfortable bed linen, high quality kitchenware and most importantly nice setup of home. Board games and Tv with Netflix made dark evening nicer and better. Alexandra proactively provided all the information we needed in advance. The apartment has all the amenities you need. The beds are of great quality and there is even coffee and tea that we could use. The apartment is cozy and cozily furnished. Definitely recommended for a family with children passing through to winter sports.

The apartment is very well and well thought out. The location directly on the lake and the view from the balcony really nice. Heidi was very accessible and responded immediately if questions came up Overall a nice, clean, and recommended place to stay

We felt very comfortable as a family with toddler (almost 2 years) in the apartment. There was enough stance for everyone. Shops such as Edeka or the beverage market are within walking distance, or even the boat dock. You have to go a long way to the playground, but that was not so tragic for us, as the apartment is opposite the cow pasture and there is plenty to discover. The area is good to explore by public transport and with the TegernseeCard you can also drive for free for the most part. Tobias was always easily accessible for questions in advance. We only missed the high chair a bit. We had a lovely holiday.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

The place is easy to find. Eva gave clear instructions and check in was smooth and easy. Dedicated parking lot for this unit. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. Bathroom is clean as well. Kitchen is filled with sufficient utensils, along with working oven and dishwasher. My family love the place alot and wish we could stay longer. Eva was also very responsive and she tried her best to address our needs. Very much appreciated.

Cornelia's place was absolutely beautiful! Such gorgeous decorations and intimate small touches everywhere. Lots of lovely antiques and small figurines paired with modern fixtures. Cornelia was so friendly and helpful as well! She showed a passion for her home, and that made it even better to stay in a place that is so well loved and cared for by the owner! She showed me around the entire house which really helped, and she has a great book with suggestions for food and places nearby. The home has so much space for a large family or group, and everything in it is new and beautiful! The house has everything you could need from washer/dryer, hairdryer, shampoo, towels, blankets, piano, games, bikes, ping-pong and more! The location of the home is ideal for Starnberg visiting, and the visitors center in town can provide a map with additional city features and hikes to take. It was a perfect location for our family, and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend this home!

We spent a very nice week with the family in the great villa and felt very comfortable. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The house is very idyllic from the outdoor area to the furnishings and it is quietly located. We lacked nothing. We received a warm welcome from Alex and his mother and we could also reach out to her at any time. The house is close to Lake Ammersee, which we could easily walk to. We can give at least 5 stars and wish the other guests such a nice time at Villa Matilda and good rest. Many thanks to Angela, Alex and his mother!

A particularly great place to stay, especially if you are traveling with children and like animals. The feel-good factor is immediately available, the accommodation is equipped with everything you need. The location is also great. We felt almost at home from the first moment and enjoyed the days very much! There is enough space, even if there are six of you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the flat has been done to a very high standard and is very well equipped with everything you need. Barbara was very kind and helped to make our Christmas break feel very special. We would highly recommend staying here.

We spent 4 nights in early November at Lake Ammersee. The house and garden are beautiful. The apartment is in the Basement, but is still very bright and cuddly warm, so a few rainy days we didn't mind. The view of the old trees in autumnal colors from the bed was my personal highlight. Communication with the host was very straightforward and on request she gave us a few things we needed for cooking. We recommend a long walk in the nearby forest.

We loved everything about this place! Such a fantastic little town on a scenic lake. We swam one evening, dined at a local restaurant another evening, walked to the bakery one morning, utilized the hiking trails to see Lainbach Falls, and were within reasonable driving distance for day trips to Berchtesgaden and Neuschwanstein Castle, which is what brought us to the area. The condo itself was also perfect for our family of five. We utilized the kitchen to make some of our own meals, had coffee on the balcony every morning, and the space was clean and comfortable with pleasant decor. Communication with the host was great too! Not sure if I’ll ever be back in the area, but if I am, I’d stay here!

Had a great time staying at Iryna‘s place! She was very friendly, responsive, and flexible. The apartment is right by the water and walking distance to Rottach-Egern and Tegernsee. It was clean and met our expectations. Until next time!

Anke and Christian were very gracious hosts! They made sure that we checked in easily and provided wonderful recommendations for activities and restaurants. The condo was wonderfully clean and bright and comfortable. It was such a delight to view the lake through the glass doors and balcony by the kitchen and living room. A really delightful experience in beautiful Tegernsee!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is ideal for daytrips to Munich or the region south of Munich towards the Alps. A very important feature was the very comfortable bed !

We were able to check in to Antonia's apartment very flexibly. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary and we could also contact our hostess at any time. The apartment is very quietly located on a forest edge. The house garden was made with a lot of love. It is only 2 minutes to the lake and 5 minutes to the village center of Gstadt with beautiful restaurants and the jetty for the Chiemse shipping. In the surroundings of Gstadt you can walk very well in all directions. For strengthening, it is recommended to taste the local Renke. Lake Chiemsee is definitely worth a trip in winter as well.

Great equipped accommodation in a lovely location. Really, from the kettle to the baking paper and coffee powder, it has it all. Wolfgang is very friendly and easily accessible. Two notes that were not clear to me until the day of arrival: - The pool and sauna are public areas. The sauna is small (for about two people), costs extra and can only be paid in €1 increments (about €1/15 minutes, until sauna is hot plan about half an hour - so sauna session about €4-5). - The garden is also for other hotel/apartment guests and you have to cross a road to get there. Nevertheless: Everything is positive and the place is highly recommended! Thanks + happy to come back!
