Beach house vacation rentals in Mullins Bay

this place is a total gem on the beach. Fred and Micaela were funny and always there either in person or to chat to on the phone. the beach is right there. be prepared to get sand everywhere...but that is the joy of it! we loved Barbados and we loved fred and Micaela place. thee is a rum bar and a beach bar just on the beach and everything else within a short drive. nothing was too much to ask them for either. it can be a bit noisy at night with the music from the local bars, but nothing more than what you would heat if you were in a hotel. and it's SOOO much better than a hotel. id be back there in a heart beat

Andrew is truly a super host! He was waiting patiently for us upon arrival to greet us, even though our flight was delayed by 3 hours. He gave us a tour of the Villa and made us feel right at home. He provided us with recommendations, was quick to respond to our questions and was always helpful , friendly and warm. We could not have asked for a better host. The Southern Villa is immaculate, spacious, beautiful and in a perfect location. The pool area, terrace and wrap-around balcony provided extra space to hang out and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The washer and dryer and full kitchen also made it feel like home. We were close to awesome restaurants, Accra beach, shopping, and transportation routes. Andrew was also kind enough to drive us to the grocery store. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Southern Surf apartments and we will definitely be back soon. Thanks Andrew to you and all your crew and see you again soon!

What can I say we had the best time staying here, Katie was amazing, so helpful and quick responses, she told us recommendations for activities and local restaurants etc she never made us feel like we were being a pain asking questions any time of the day she was brilliant.! We would highly recommend this accommodation it was clean and everything was tidy it felt like home from home. Don’t hesitate to book here! We will be back x

Once again we've had an amazing stay hosted by David & Diana - for two weeks across both Sweetwater and St James's Bay Apartment 2. Sweetwater was new to us this time and did not disappoint - with two families staying very happily alongside each other - plenty of 'together space' as well as zones for times when separate spaces needed whether for kids and adults, or for families. The pool was a wonderful aspect for all too after ocean time was done. Chris and Jackie nearby were such warm and responsive hosts too - with fantastic recommendations that we found to be authentic and true to experiencing true Barbados, a dear island which we all have had experience of over the decades since the 1970's. So thank you David, Diana, Chris and Jackie - we can't recommend Sweetwater more highly and really hope we can return again soon.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachgate — it’s now one of our favorite AirBnBs of all time! The historical charm and tasteful decor made it so pleasant to spend time there. We loved living alongside the sound of the waves, while dining, having a beverage on the porch, or playing cards. We took turns relaxing in the hammock. 😊 We all really appreciated the refreshing pool upon returning from time spent exploring other areas. There are so many great options nearby in terms of beaches and food. We were grateful not to have to rent a car, as so many spots were within walking distance. You can also easily catch a taxi or bus, if you want to venture further. Tina & Philip are expert hosts — they predict every need. Jason arranged a pre-dawn taxi to the airport for us so we could catch our early morning flight home. We really appreciate them, and hope to return to Beachgate. 💕

The Sandgate Beach House was absolutely beautiful!!! The pictures and description were extremely accurate. As a group of six, we had plenty of room both inside and out. The patio/terrace allowed us to spend 95% of our time outside. It was such a pleasure to wake up and be right on the beach. Can't say enough about this house. We hope to return next year!!

The house is right on the beautiful beach and had everything our family needed! The ocean views from the deck are amazing and the back yard feels like a paradise!

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

Great stay in Barbados with my parents. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and had a fantastic stay. Hosts are also very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend for a relaxing vacation!

Had a fantastic stay at Shirrell's place. Spotlessly clean, freindly neighbourhood, felt very safe in the area and everything we needed was catered for. Shirrell was very quick to respond to any questions we had, she's a great host. We all thankyou for our lovely stay and hope to come back again. I would recommend downloading the Pick Up Barbados App for Taxis, They were also brilliant.

Keisha’s place was exactly as described. Modern, clean and a great backyard and swimming pool. Only minutes of walking away from a beautiful beach. Keisha was very accommodating and communicative, we did not need to reach out for anything the entire stay. Very smooth check-in/out experience. Barbados is a beautiful island and I would stay in any of Keisha’s homes because this was an immaculate experience. Thank you for hosting us! We look forward to coming back.

Rachel is a very responsive person to deal with. She helped with everything thing I could possibly need. I never has someone so helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Beautiful home. Very quiet a d private area. Need a rental car since it is off the beaten path. Pool was lovely. Air conditioners in the bedrooms worked wonderfully. Felt very safe and comfortable. Jan was very friendly and readily available to answer questions.

Absolutely loved staying in this very well appointed house. It had everything we could possibly need & was in walking distance of all the lovely restaurants in Holetown & the beach.

Everything was as described and the place was beautiful. The beach was at the bottom of the driveway. Kirk was very responsive and made instructions as well as check-in and check-out very seamless. Will be booking again!

Sunnyside villa is beautiful, spacious, immaculate and comfortable! The location is ideal as it is a quick walk to several beaches where you can snorkel off the beach, dine in restaurants on the beach or stroll to the grocery store to pick up food to make is the well stocked kitchen. We especially loved the private pool and outdoor covered patio as well. Mid week cleaning for the home and pool were also most appreciated. I carefully selected this property for our family group to vacation together and we all were most impressed with the property and its location. Our hosts and support staff were a pleasure to interact with. We will definitely book here again when we can schedule it. This is a special, well cared for place!!

Incredible villa in an amazing location walkable to beautiful Gibbes Bay and Mullins Beach. Plenty of space for three generations of our family to celebrate a big birthday. The gardens are mature and so lovely. We saw monkeys and humming birds regularly from the deck. Clean and tidy, we wanted for nothing. The pool was delightful and very well maintained. Communication with Sarah was absolutely brilliant, and her recommendations top drawer! Can’t fault our stay at all- I sincerely hope we will be back again soon, thank you. *****

We had such a wonderful time at Seahorses. It was a stunning and spacious unit with a lovely view of the ocean. We were right across the street from Thunder Bay which had a really fun bar, beautiful beach and comfy beach loungers. It was easy to get in and out of the unit and the location felt very safe. We loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle of the busier areas but still easy to pop on a bus to get what you needed. Locally, we ate at The View, Seashed, Thunder Bay and Simones but also visited several other delicious restaurants. We even went to the fish market down the street where they filleted a huge pink snapper for us which we cooked at home. Overall, we loved the island and what made it stand out was the friendly and helpful people! We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this exact unit again. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us :)

Very clean and as described

Really enjoyed our stay at Adela's beautiful cottage, we were so surprised when the gates opened revealing the most beautiful tropical garden complete with parrots, humming birds and the occasional family of monkeys passing through! The space and layout of the cottage worked really well for us and we very much appreciated how well equipped it was, both inside and out. It is a short walk to the beautiful Gibbs beach and close to Mullins beach - also walkable, where you have The Sea Shed restaurant and the wonderful Adrian's Corner, where you can hire sunbeds and who make brilliant Pina Coladas! We now feel that we have found our home from home in Barbados and have already booked for next year!

Very nice place, and huge! Secluded, quiet, and very responsive host. There is a trail behind on the coast line you can see people but they are very far away. Pool is amazing, covered porch is great for those who want shade and pool gets sun all day. Pool has 3 areas: a shallow sloping area good for kids, a medium (chest level) area and, a deep area. Don't expect to have much around close by, car is almost a must, closest store is a very limited local store with minimal supplies (5-10 min away), major grocery store (15-20 min). You may see a few millipedes walking around remember your in the islands version of the sticks, and the windows don't have screens so you may get some flies but keep things clean and you will have no issues. Make sure to get some bottled water when getting supplies, host had bunch for us on arrival. He was honest and said that the water should be potable but just in case he recommended drinking bottled, we decided not to chance it.

My recent stay was of fantastic! The property boasts a breathtaking view that left me in awe every morning. The location couldn't have been more convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms provided the perfect retreat after a day of adventure, only thing is the double bed are pretty small. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining the property's cleanliness. What truly made my stay memorable was the hospitality of the host. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on. While the beach near the property was rocky, I didn't mind exploring other nearby beaches, which offered pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch accommodation

Perfect vacation! Four weeks under coconut palm and banana tree in our beautiful garden with small kids. We loved the beautiful garden where kids liled to play. Michele and Pia helped us with transportation before arrival and arranged highchair and toys for the kids. Perfect location near a very nice and calm beach with good services. Short walk to supermarket and a bus stop and we travelled all around the island by bus. A nice horse stable next door arrange riding on the beach. Nearby is also small but nice small market area with some vendors selling food and drinks and a rum distillery with very nice beach club. I would be delighted to return!
