Fossardalur Guesthouse - Room 3

We arrived at night and the road up to the house was dark. However, it was so quiet, clean, and even though it was a guesthouse, everyone was respectful, so I rested comfortably.
A single-story building is situated in a snowy landscape, with a mountain rising in the background. Multiple windows are visible, allowing natural light to fill the interior. Vehicles are parked in front, emphasizing accessibility and convenience.

Amazing place! The view is incredible there and on the drive there (we can from the north west). Saw some caribou on the drive up the lane. Pretty amazing! Host was incredibly nice and helped with restaurants to go to. Djupivogur is only 20 mins away. The hotel restaurant was well worth it. Would stay here again!
A bright room features two beds dressed in soft green covers, with a wooden dresser nearby. Natural light enters through a small window, while the private bathroom, equipped with a shower, is visible through an open door. Dark green curtains frame the window.

Laugarfell / Twin room

UlrikeRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Laugarfell is really a beautiful place to stay. It's in the middle of the Highlands and is very secluded. We found this to be very nice, but this is of course a little more cumbersome and there are no supermarkets or the like nearby (if that should be important to someone). However, there are two hot springs right outside the front door and a beautiful hike where you can visit a lot of waterfalls. The staff on site is really very friendly and accommodating and the food tastes very good!
