Monthly Rentals in Muelle de Moyogalpa, Isla de Ometepe

I went to Nicaragua looking for time in nature and a unique Airbnb experience. I found it! JC and Lisseth’s place is an amazing working farm with fruit trees, chickens and birds. Lots of birds! I was warmly welcomed and treated like to amazingly fresh and tasty food. I had a fabulous massage, helped with English class for local children and swam in the nearby lake. I absolutely loved my time with JC, Lisseth and their family. You should know that there are dirt paths that are kept very clean to reduce dust and mosquitos sometimes arrive at night and are easily controlled with bug spray. This is a unique place to stay amongst a lot of nature and very kind people.

The perfect place for getting the early ferry! Everything 100% satisfactory! Great that this small hotel has a pool and common kitchen 🙂 Highly recommended!

It was a little tricky figuring out where to exactly find the place because there’s no signs, but some really nice locals helped me find it. The host was very fast at answering any of my questions. I used up the propane tank and they had someone there within the hour to replace it (mind you it was 6am when I messaged the host) would stay again!

We needed to stay somewhere close to Moyogalpa because we had to catch a very early ferry, so we just stayed one night and weren't there very long. However, the property met all expectations and was as listed. They very kindly offered to cook us dinner and breakfast, which unfortunately we were not hungry enough to take them up on. Quiet and clean room, quiet local neighborhood with friendly folks. Thanks!
