House vacation rentals in Mountain Home Village

Place is exactly as described. Quiet area. Felt remote. A 20 minute drive to our favorite breakfast spot (Yucca Tree Eatery. We phone in the order as we're leaving the rental. ) Jacuzzi was clean and worked well. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again :)

Great experience! Carla is a wonderful host -- very responsive and helpful. The house is lovely -- everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Gourmet kitchen and expansive view. Great family time, whether sharing a meal around the large dining table, sitting on the comfy sofas, or relaxing in the spa. Highly recommend!

This place is simply perfect and the hosts as good as they get. The communication from them was timely and clear even before we had booked - I reached out way before they had opened it for booking for the period of time we wanted to stay because we were going to the Indian Wells tennis tournament and wanted to stay in this particular house because of the ModPool. The day we arrived, Thomas offered to preheat the pool for us, which was quite welcome because it was colder than normal that day. All communication was superb. This is the perfect house for fun, relaxation, and entertainment. There is so much to do. It is so well appointed for activities and entertaining - the pool, mini-golf, bocci ball, billiards, ping pong, video games, board games, tv's everywhere inside and out. It was fantastic. The hosts thought of everything one wants and needs - even things like coffee, ice, beach towels, and a great visitors guide. We were not left wanting anything at all. A Simply perfect place.

Nice place. Pool isn't heated so make sure you check the temp before you head over. Otherwise perfect

Very conveniently located. 10 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. 5 minute walk to Demuth park with pickleball courts and dog park. The host was very responsive and provided everything necessary for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The yard was nice and clean. I really appreciate that the house is dog friendly and so close to the park for dog walking. Also great was the option to heat pool and/or spa separately. We used the spa. The pool was nice but we didn’t opt to heat it as it was a little too cool outside for most of our stay. The house is convenient to the airport but that comes with hearing the planes throughout the day (but not too bad - and not at night). Great wifi. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors.

Kate's a terrific communicator- friendly and quick with her responses. We're were greeted by a sweet welcome note and a bottle of wine.....Classy! The house is set in a very quiet neighborhood. There were distant views of snow-capped mountains which is such a dramatic contrast to the sandy dessert. The photos represented the house really well. It's also a fun house to hang out as a family and play games, enjoy the hot tub, etc The location is a short distance for local restaurants. There's a market less than 2 miles from the house. Easy access to Joshua Tree National Park. It worked out well for our group of three generations!

What a find! Great location and peaceful stay! Everything was clean, easy to find and clearly laid out. We had a wonderful stay and even extended our time.

We love the place. It is perfect for our needs/budget/timetable. Suzette was an excellent host...very accommodating of our requests. She dealt with our questions right away. The house is very well kept and has the accoutrements we enjoy. We enjoy the pool and reading along with hiking and the restaurants, however also enjoyed preparing our own meals using the kitchen and the outside gas grill. In a word, excellent!

We had an excellent stay in Todd’s place. The house was fully stocked with essentials, which made a week trip really easy. Place is really nice, and very clean. Ideal place for a family vacation. Quickly responded to questions and was able to help with some good local suggestion. 10/10, highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay! The one thing I would like to note is the house is a duplex, not a single residence. The home was charming and my family had a great stay. We had an issue with the coffee maker not working day 1, but Woody took care of it by sending a working one. The tv screen also had an issue, but it wasn’t really a problem because we didn’t need to watch tv. We used the hot tub everyday and loved it. Overall we would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Tess’s place was AMAZING!! It was 5 stars all around. It was tricky to find at night but with her helpful directions we got there no problem. It was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, with plenty of towels. We had to cut our trip short due to my daughter getting sick and they were very accommodating about that as well. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to stay there and would rebook myself.

Laura was a gracious, kind, and super responsive host. Her check in process was clear and simple, and check out was equally easy. The house is lovely inside and out, and was clearly designed with guests in mind. There’s plenty of natural light and it is well decorated but not cluttered, so it is easy to keep tidy and feel fresh each day. The backyard is private, beautiful, extremely well appointed. It’s a happy space with abundant sunshine and shade. We woke up and had coffee with the birds signing their happy songs all around the neighborhood, hung out by & in the pool during the day, and then enjoyed dinner under the cafe lights in the garden in the evening. We truly loved spending time at this home - so much so that though we had plans in town, we cancelled most of them just to hang back at the house and cook. Thank you, Laura, for a beautiful stay. We hope to return soon and will not hesitate to stay here again!

What a great home! The yard is the star with stunning landscaping, beautiful areas to sit and lounge, a great sized pool and spa, and even areas for games. Inside isn’t huge but has everything you need. The home was incredibly well stocked with thoughtfulness and attention: pool towels, detergent, coffee, condiments/spices, lots of ice, extra blankets and linens. We would definitely stay here again. The road and plane noise is a bit loud but it didn’t bother us.

Although we stayed in a great location we didn't end up leaving the house once. We cooked all our meals and stayed at the house to enjoy the pool and view. It was a relaxing a perfect getaway. The kids loved the pool! would definitely love to come visit again soon. The host was very responsive and a delight to communicate with. :)

We had a perfect getaway. Crestline is a such a cool little town. 20-minute drive to Lake Arrowhead. Plenty of great restaurants and incredible scenery, and this little A-frame is magical.

The backyard is lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The space worked well for 6 adults.

we loved our stay up on the hill above yucca valley. the sunsets blow your mind, the night sky - epic, good birding! the house is exactly like it looks in the photos - artfully curated stuff everywhere - amazing vinyl collection, and a kitchen has nice quality knives pans that makes you feel like someone actually lives in it. great communication with the hosts - everything about our stay was excellent. hope to be back in the future.

I was here for the tennis at Indian Wells. Great location for that. The house was comfortable and really homely. Had everything that you would need. Didn’t use the pool or spa as weather was a bit cool. Bed very comfortable and shower was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

We love staying at Gahl's place. Both he and his host Tricia are responsive if you need help and the house is both tidy and well maintained.

The holiday house is the perfect remote getaway. You'll find everything you need to make an amazing meal in the kitchen. You can get lost in the beautiful art all around the gardens and inside the house. The 360° views of the landscape are absolutely breathtaking and the night sky is otherworldly. This is by far my favorite stay out in the high desert.

We had a great stay here. The house is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The private backyard was a highlight - peaceful, well maintained, and ideal for relaxing by the pool. We loved seeing lemon trees in the backyard. We found we had everything we could possibly need with a well stocked kitchen and many kitchen appliances. There is plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. Everything about the space made us feel at home. We also appreciated that it is a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay we highly recommend!!

Amazing Stay – Beautiful Home, Pool, and Perfect Location! We had a fantastic stay! The house is well-designed, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better—close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions especially the aerial tram, yet in a peaceful neighborhood that felt like a private retreat. Jeremy was incredibly responsive and made everything easy. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Privacy from others if wanted but big enough to have everyone over for dinners. It was great. Igor was fast with responding and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back with family again.
