We had a fantastic stay at Alix and Taj's property! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly maintained. Alix and Taj were wonderful hosts—helpful, friendly, and responsive. We loved the thoughtful touches like hotel-style bathroom products, fresh milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and even ramen (a big hit with the kids!). There were plenty of towels, adding to the comfort. The building lobby had a beautiful perfume—we even asked the concierge about it, though they didn’t know the scent. The location is unbeatable, with Southbank attractions nearby and easy access to public transport. We stayed over New Year’s and enjoyed a stunning view of the fireworks from The Shrine Celebration Zone—an unforgettable highlight! Highly recommend staying here, and we’d love to return. A lovely, shaded, fully equipped apartment with all amenities for a comfortable stay, and close to public transport. In the apartment there was plenty of information on the surrounding area, places of interest and visit. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building with two small flights of stares to negotiate to access. There isn't a lift which could be an issue for some. Anne was very helpful and responsive to any questions and proactive in ensuring that we were happy with everything. She was also very flexible with entry and exit times which helped us immensely. We could not have wished for a better host.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Windmill Barn. From the outset Lauretta was an amazing host with great communication and attention to detail which is in full display within the property. Windmill barn is beautifully presented and exceedingly well equipped throughout. It is easy to lose time exploring the barn with so much history on display. The views out past the windmill are borderline ethereal once you've explored inside. If you find yourself looking to endulge another sense grabbing a coffee and heading out back brings auditory charm by way of birdsongs overwhelmingly dominated by Currawongs with the occasional interlude provide by a distant Whipbird. The sense of pure, immersive isolation in nature with the convenience of being 15 minutes away from modern commercial society and central to so many attractions in the area puts The Windmill Barn right at the top of our repeat visit list.

We had an amazing stay at Freshwater. The apartment was great, incredible views and the location is perfect. Colin was a great host- he met us at the property to check in, showed us up to the apartment, was super friendly, informative and accommodating! Will definitely stay again in the future!

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was a stay we won’t soon forget. The views were spectacular, the breakfast foods and sweet treats in the fridge were a lovely touch and the check in was smooth and easy. We had a wonderful time staying there and would love to stay again in the future.

Our family of five enjoyed our stay. Everyone had their own room and there was plenty of space. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The location in Richmond is amazingly convenient located between trams on either Swan St or Bridge Rd taking us to everywhere we needed. The cafe across the road had nice coffee too. Yarra walkways are a short distance.

Very nice apartment, well fitted out and in a handy location for St Kilda. Lots of local bars, cafes and restaurants. Quiet apartment considering busy location. Geri was very helpful. Would definitely return for another stay.

Terrific place , really enjoyed all the finer elements of the property design. Location is is excellent , really nice use of natural light , lots of space and for us , it was great having a two year old as lots of new toys for my son to play with.. Erika and Chris were lovely hosts , very responsive and thoughtful.

The location is great only minutes to a tram into the city and 20 minutes walk to Melbourne park, MCG, AAMI park. Communication was great and all the added extras are above and beyond other bnb’s. We had 3 couples staying and was really comfortable for all of us. Hosts were so great even offering miki cards for us to use for trams. Will definately stay there again and especially for a sporting event. So close and perfect and quiet. Thanks

I recently stayed at this apartment for five nights, and it exceeded all my expectations. The place was spotless, cozy, and had thoughtful amenities that made it feel like home. David, the host, was incredibly welcoming, giving me a detailed tour and ensuring I had everything I needed. The location was perfect close to the tram station, with the city just a 15–20-minute Uber ride away. The stunning racecourse view was a highlight, breathtaking both in the mornings and evenings. The building was exceptional, featuring a rooftop swimming pool with amazing city views and a well-equipped gym. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, and the apartment included board games, puzzles, and books for relaxation. Access was seamless, and every detail in the apartment showed great care and thought. This was easily one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had, and I’d recommend it to anyone. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

I couldn’t recommend this place enough! The perfect little pocket of Fitzroy, close to all of the best cafes and parks. I loved all of the little thoughtful touches around the place, especially the extras waiting for me in the kitchen. Everything you need & more! Such a lovely host & will definitely be booking again x

Great place to stay, looks just like the photos. Fantastic area and pool and gym were a real bonus. Beds were very comfortable and wonderful shower. Kitchen was great and well equipped. Would certainly stay again. Thank you Ethan for letting us stay at your lovely apartment.

great spot if you are going to the tennis or mcg lots of restaurants around and Woolworths really close

We absolutely loved our stay with Julie on the Southbank of Melbourne. We stayed for a week over NYE. First off the location is perfect and very walkable to many excellent restaurants. Two blocks from the crown casino and shopping. Lots of walkable activities for our kids including the ferris wheel, scenic boat tours, aquarium and more. A grocery store and bottle shop are only steps away. The unit itself was perfect. Very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Washer and dryer. Comfortable beds and large comfortable couch for watching movies with the family. My kids loved the bunk beds. Very spacious balcony. It had everything we needed. It felt like home. We will definitely be back when we visit Melbourne again.

Fantastic location and wonderful to have the river in front of us for daily walks. We loved the pool and the free tram was right out front. A little dusty in places but it served our purposes well.

Great location, 300m from tram, 500m from train station. Clean, quiet, super comfy bed, toiletries were a nice touch which made the place feel more luxurious, outstanding communication - best I’ve ever had with an airbnb host. Great place to stay as a solo traveller or a couple.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts along with Ollie (dog). We had two grandsons staying, along with their parents all of whom found the games and pool a great distraction from their electronic devices. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and bathroom essentials. Linen and pillows along with comfortable beds added to our wonderful stay. Location to restaurants and walking trails atpour doorstep.

The view is amazing and the place is in the centre of everything. It is clean and cozy, just the microwave location is not ideal as too high to reach and no tea towel to dry dishes but that's the dishwasher is for as well.

Clean and comfortable unit in a secure building. Great location for walking into the city. Unit has everything you need for a fuss free stay. I enjoyed the gym, pool and rooftop garden.
