Vacation rentals in Mount Lorne

My family of 4 including 2 teens enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of the skating rink, basketball net, hammock net and fireplace. The home is located less than 10 minutes to the range road parking lot for epic sunrises and downtown’s amenities while still feeling secluded. But the thing that made it really stand out amongst my air bnb stays was the 7:30 am Aurora borealis from the porch with a coffee on my birthday. Rest assured that should you not luck out and catch the northern lights, there is much fun to be had at the cabin or within a 30 minute drive. Also recommend staying here if you want to skate and ski without driving. This makes it in our Top 5 family favourite air bnb’s.

Ken was extremely helpful and responsive. Best host I've ever had! The place was clean and comfortable, with great beds, a spacious kitchen, and a wonderful lounging area. There is some construction in the area that we periodically heard, and there is a ventilation system in the house that is always on (slight fan noise throughout) so those are a couple things to keep in mind if you are sensitive to sounds. However, we felt safe and welcome!

We really enjoyed our glamping trip. The location is gorgeous; you’re literally camping on the ski mountain! The tents were as described. I would recommend all guests read the description fully before booking, so you are prepared! Even in August, the campsite can be very cold (you are sleeping on a mountain, after all!) I would plan ahead with food in hand and an arrival time well before sunset. It may be worth it to pay a little extra for a ride up the mountain if you have little ones with you or a lot of stuff. You can also pay extra for charcuterie, wine, etc. definitely read all they have to offer! Also, layer and bring lots of warm gear. It was in the 40s at night, and my group was underdressed (our own fault, not the host’s), but we did enjoy a fire outside of the tent and at the base area. All in all, I would definitely recommend this glampsite and hope to stay there again in the future.

The cabin is just a dream, I felt as if I were in a movie. I extremely recommend.

Great spot to stay, there were only two us but you would not feel short of space bringing the maximum number of guests. They have everything you need from a well rounded library to flick through-to beautiful updated appliances. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here as even for a smaller group, it’s reasonably priced compared to options elsewhere. Thanks Amber&Erik

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Everything you need to get privacy but close enough to Whitehorse downtown, had a kitchen and stuff to make your own meals. Hot springs and Wildlife Reserve near to this place. A rental car is highly. recommended. Randy helped us with any issue we got. If weather is good, you can even catch some northern lights from here. Would like to come back here soon :)

We loved this place the moment we walked in the door! Very clean, comfortable and the place of rest we needed for our trip. We're excited to stay here again in the future.
