This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. 3 people use it for training schedule. There was plenty of room and beds, but I wanted a private space, so I unfolded the sofa in the living room and used it as a bed. It was convenient because there was a large mart, Daiso, a pharmacy, and a large bookstore within a minute's walk, but it was difficult to match the commuting time because the public transportation was spaced out. There were many restaurants within walking distance, and it was quiet and quiet compared to the area around Takasaki Station.

Sayuri was one of the most helpful and outgoing hosts I've ever stayed with. For weeks leading up to the trip, she provided advice and recommendations and was always thorough and patient. The house is modern and clean with a great mix of comfortable memory foam beds as well as the option to sleep in the more Japanese style with mattes on the floor. Our kids loved the Japanese style while my wife and I enjoyed a more Western friendly mattress. The house is across the street from a bus station, grocery store, bicycle rental, coffee shops, and restaurants. everyone we encountered in town was warm and friendly. I look forward to returning to Minakami and this house.
