He spent three years restoring a beautiful ancient portuguese 1700's house which is now a lovely place to take a rest and enjoy the Island's life. The old water tank is now a salt water swimming pool surrounded by a relaxing garden. Fan, air conditioning, family rooms, suite with private garden and see view terrace. Beira Mar Beach House is in the perfect location, with easy access to the ocean, a number of restaurants nearby and some of the best views on the island from the two rooftop terraces. The place was very clean and private, and would be excellent for either a short or extended stay. Rui and Artur were both very communicative and made sure that our stay was comfortable. I'll be back again!

We loved staying at Rui's place, it's a place that has everything to make you feel at home. It is in a very quiet area, very central and has restaurants nearby. The apartment was impeccably clean and all thoughtful details for guest comfort. It has a beautiful and relaxing terraces where we had very good times. But the best part is Rui and his team. He was always very responsive to messages and was attentive to us. She welcomed us in a very affectionate way and gave us many suggestions about our trip, helping us with everything we need (taxi, buses, restaurants, laundry...). He even drove us in his car from the island across the bridge. We recommend this place 1000x100.

Rui's place is really awesome and located in the best spot of the island! It was very easy to communicate with Rui. Rui was very helpful and accommodating so would definitely recommend the stay. The apartment is big and you have the privacy for the stay. Also there is a beautiful little terrace for yourselves. Thanks again Rui and hopefully we can visit you another time 😊
