Perfect place for my family to enjoy while visiting Crestone! A quirky space with plenty of room for all so that we felt right at home. And unforgettable views at sunrise and sunset! Pamela was super friendly and flexible as well. Would definitely recommend!

The photos don’t do this spot justice! I came for the Sand Hill Cranes festival and this was perfectly positioned to downtown Monte Vista. The views are incredible and the Airbnb is even bigger than it looks. Even though it’s a studio, the layout was so well done that it feels like a one bedroom. Eve was an excellent communicator and was even out there shoveling the stairs early in the morning! I would 100% stay here again, 10/10!! Extra towels were provided for the hot springs + sand dunes which I thought was a thoughtful touch!

Really amazing place! Views were incredible, it was really nice having some space to walk around. There's a beautiful gorge/canyon a couple hundred feet at the back of the house. Small hiccup checking in but it was resolved immediately. The house had fun art and a cool setup. Heat worked fairly well, we were a bit cold the first night but I think it was something like 6° outside. The heat kept up the rest of the time. The property was so isolated that sometimes when you were outside it was either completely silent or only the sound of wind. Would definitely stay again!

The Traveler's Rest is ideal for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and serenity. It was amazing how clear the night sky was and how quiet it is. A refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The place was easy to find, the hosts were nice and helpful with local recommendations. Close to Great Sand Dunes. The town is charming and easily walkable. Had an amazing omelette at the nearby coffee shop, greeted by wonderful people. Great stay!

I loved this home to stay in with my friend for classes at ASU. It felt like home the moment we walked in and was amazing compared to the dorms. The host was amazing and provided quite literally everything we needed. It was outside of town and private so we could rest. The beds were cozy and the sheets.

Being able to walk out the back door for 5 minutes to the river was amazing. And the yard was fenced in so my dog could sniff around off-leash. Mary gave great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. It was a very peaceful stay.

This is an awesome place. I’m not sure if it was because of the time of the year but we got a great rate it was beyond reasonable. The place looks better in person than in picture, this might sound like a fake review but this is actually a diamond in the rough I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again next year.
